    Default Lower Cost Niche/Indie Houses

So I recently began exploring niche/indie houses since I feel I have or have smelled a wide variety of designer.

I'm looking for reasonably priced per oz/ml or niche/indie that you can find either at a low price to start or discounted ($150> or fair per ounce price)

The ones that came to my mind that I want comparable prices to are ones like

    Imaginary Authors
    Christian Dior Privee
    Atelier Cologne

I'm not a huge fan of the house, but Histoires de Parfums mostly lands in this price range.

All below niche houses can be found reasonably low at discounters or at retailers when coupons are applied.

    Atelier Cologne
    Mancera
    Montale

Smellbent. You can almost call it a parody niche house. The price is on the lower end.

$150 per ounce is actually quite high. It's true that some niche houses are now in the stratosphere, but most are not. Many houses are at 50ml or 30ml for under $100.

A shootout for my perhaps my favorite house (Etat Libre d'Orange) as well as for Parfums de Nicolai (who has convenient 30ml bottles as well).

Also adding Penhaligon's, Guerlain Exclusives, Lubin, Serge Lutens, Floris, Knize to name only a few (granted, most of these border on the designer exclusive rather than the artisan/indie/alternative houses, both in terms of pricing and of scarcity/limited availability, however it does not diminish their quality nor their value for money)

I highly recommend visiting this brand too. I'm currently hosting a sample pass for the line. If you like vintage styled and Non-IFRA based scents this is the house for you.

Try L’Artisan Parfumeurs. IMO their back catalogs still offer incredible value.
