    freewheelingvagabond - congrat's on 19K!

Shycat - OMG your worm posts (just like all of your posts) tickle my funny bones. I actually log into BN sometimes just to see if you've posted so I can get some comic relief.

teardrop - get better soon sweetie ((bear hugs))

This morning I wore a sample of Acqua di Lavanda Ambrata by Santa Maria Novella that a BN buddy gifted me and arrived in yesterdays mail. I adore it. I will have to start a thread about it. Then I had a full day ahead of me so after Cross Fit I got to work early in a cloud of:

    Dodo by Zoologist

I was so excited about this one - the perfumer is the guy who owns Rising Phoenix Perfumery and the notes are lime and sandalwood and its a fougere but man...I struggle with this one. The 'fresh' and 'fruity' notes scream 'designer masculine fragrance' and I am trying to get past these associations and see if I enjoy it. I am not 'pushing it' on myself - that's for sure. But nonetheless I've been testing fragrances long enough to have patience with sampling and have learned the art of letting a fragrance reveal itself to you over time. So that's what I'm doing with this one. Let's just say that this is *not* love at first sniff.
