    Default Teenager Second Fragrance

Hello. I am 17 years old and I live in a country that only have 2 climates, summer and rainy season. I currently have a bottle of Dylan Blue and are looking for something cheaper to wear daily. My choices are:
    • Azzaro Chrome
    • Mont Blanc Legend Spirit
    • Lacoste L12.12 Blanc
    • Burberry London Men
    • Mercedes Benz Intense
    • Sean John I Am King

If you have any other recommendations please feel free to recommend it to me. My budget is around $30
    Thanks

I like that Lacoste! Very nice "clean" scent, perfect for hot and muggy climates.

Of the ones you have listed, Lacoste L12.12 Blanc - I think this is a lovely scent especially for young men/boys

From your list I think the best overall fragrance is Burberry London Men. However, that is certainly not something I would wear in the summer, or, any kind of heat and humidity personally. Based on my experiences I would say on your list to get Azzaro Chrome, I wore that when I was in high school and it brings back lots of great memories. Another very nice hot weather gem I recently re-discovered that can be had very cheaply is Michael Jordan cologne. It doesn't have great longevity, but, a 3.4 oz bottle can be had for like $16 on Amazon, so, go nuts with the sprayer.

Azzaro Chrome or Mont Blanc Legend Spirit for me from your list, but I’d pick Tommy by Tommy Hilfiger or Joop Homme if I was buying in the under $30 bracket.

How about Boss Bottled Intense is it good? I am afraid to buy the Versace Pour Homme since I would think that it would be useless to have two fragrances from the same company let alone a same bottle design. But how does the Versace Pour Homme compared to the Dylan Blue?

From your list: Mont Blanc Legend Spirit. In addition, Perry Ellis 360 Red is great if you already like the smell of Aqua di Gio, and it sounds perfect for your climate. Nautica Voyage is very inexpensive, great for Summer, and the girls around you are sure to love it.

I will second this one -- or honestly anything from the Guerlain Homme line. I will also add Guerlain l'Homme Ideal Cologne (similar name, totally different fragrance) to the list. Rather unique warm-weather option, and should fit the price criteria.

From the list, the Lacoste. Burberry London for Men isn't one for warm weather at all and its perfomance would be even worse in the heat, I reckon.

Love Kouros in the heat but wouldn't recommend it for a 17-year-old at all unless you've smelt it and love it.

I thought this was 'sampling, trying and buying list' rather than a 'blind buy' list?

I guess i took it as a "want to blind buy one of these and want opinions" list, but i could be mistaken

I wouldn't worry too much about having more than 1 fragrance from the same house. If you like them, there's nothing wrong with that. Versace Pour Homme is nice, and different enough from Dylan Blue that you won't be confusing them. However, you did say you were looking for something cheaper than the Dylan Blue, and VPH is going to be around the same price range as the DB.

Versace Pour Homme (if you're looking for it on the discounters, sometimes they call it "Versace Signature") is running right around $40 US at the moment, and Dylan Blue is running about $44.

Azzaro chrome for summer. London is cold weather scent to my nose. Would work in the rainy season you speak of.

Since I know you're probably never going to look at Kouros.. I loved Diesel Fuel For Life when I was in high school (even posted about it back then on here too) and it still holds up pretty good with savage performance.. Who knew so many fragrances nowadays would copy it!

I'll add YSL L'Homme. A smaller bottle 2 oz will be a little bit above $30 but it's definitely worth it IMO.
