I love that limited edition bottle - I wished I owned that one but alas I just own the regular one.

I must admit Turin got it right on this one - it is much more of a grapefruit fizzy fragrance, than a pineapple one. Nonetheless, I love it.

freewheeling, I've intended for the last 3 days to congratulate you on your posting milestone and kept blanking it. So, here's a ridiculously belated CONGRATULATIONS! Here's to many more!

Today's synch is really hard for me as I *hate* aldehydes unless I can only sense them vs smell them, if you know what I mean. However, I've elected not to take the easy way out, and I'm synching in something that lists aldehydes as the first note. Thank god they burn away in about 30 minutes.

Wearing the incredibly-soapy-opening-but-then-lovely-green-warm-earthy-and-a-little-skanky Robert Piguet Baghari (aldehydes, bergamot, orange blossom, lemon, rose, lilac, clove, ylang ylang, hay, lily of the valley, jasmine, iris, bourbon vetiver, costus, benzoin, musk, vanilla, civet, Ambergris, and castoreum). What a note list!

Today I'm wearing Liz Claiborne perfume by Liz Claiborne. (You know, that one in the colourful triangle shaped bottle that looks like 1980's jewelry.)

I only just tried it today for the first time actually, and I realized I really love it! It's one of those many 1980's (and '70's) perfumes that was made and marketed for women, but smells exactly like it could be a men's cologne too! (So..it's really highly unisex.) I highly recommend it if you love those, I think it smells great, personally!
It has a prominent marigold note too, just so you know.

It's cold and pouring rain, so no chilly aldehydes for me this morning. Maybe later I'll put on some vintage No. 22, but for now I'm in Ambre Precieux.

LadyDragonFire, I love this post! My mother wore Liz Claiborne and I used to spritz some on every time I visited her. Very ‘80s nostalgic. Good memories!

Loving seeing what fizzy frags you all came up with for Friday sync!

I wanted to sync, but it’s a gray, dreary, drizzly day here and I worked 26 hours straight (8 am yesterday - 10 am today), so I’m having a wonderfully cozy afternoon on the couch, wrapped in the warmth of:

I think 'ananas' is related to 'anaras' which means pineapple in Hindi and Bengali (and Sanskrit?).

Yayy for ComDiva and for teardrop!

I synched today in Iris Poudre and it's still pretty strong after 11 hours.

This week. I can't even. (But jeez, PeachieOs, you help keep my busy week in perspective!! 26 hours is brutal!) But I did catch up with reading the threads and am hopefully back. (Back here and back to the gym--I skipped every day this week, ye gods. Back to it tomorrow...)

    SotE is almost certainly L'HB.
