    Congratulations Starblind on 3K!

I'm wearing Tihota today and making cup custards. I think I'll put some golden syrup in the bottom to make a sort of British flan.

I enjoy custards, particularly if they're home made. Do you make custard pies as well? You smell great today

    Me too, love the tins.

It's super-bright lemon/bergamot, with just enough herbals to push it slightly into fougere territory. Holds up pretty well to age, too, even the powder, which I usually find lose their strength in the vintage versions.

Ooh, excited to see a few other GoT fans around... (<3 N.CAL Fragrance Reviewer and teardrop). I’m having a few friends over tonight for the premier, wonder what the best fragrance choice for this will be? Chanel Eau Premiere maybe, but that’s too obvious. What would the Mother of Dragons wear??

For today I’m actually not wearing anything (unless you count the Lush Seaspray in my hair, which does smell fantastic). I’m organizing the dozens of fragrance samples I’ve collected recently, and testing out a few as I go. Favorite so far:

t-minus 6 hours Looking forward to chatting about the episode soon. The mother of dragon would probably wear something that commands authority. I'd say something like this:

Rosarium for me today. I don't know what kind of bird laid the eggs for sure. I have my binoculars at the ready to spy on her, though. I'm just assuming it's a robin because the eggs are blue. The kitten number was truly amazing--three did not make it, which is just a mercy for the mama cat if you ask me.

I think you should start a little Blue Egg diary/blog on your 'About Me' page. Hope they're still there when the pear tree blooms, it will be just insufferably adorable.

    Congratulations on 3,000, Starblind!!

It was A. MAZING. to get out into the forest. FINALLY. (I'm so sorry about the snow, Q )

Ichnusa always smells terrific in the forest, and today was no exception. It just sang in today's weather: 55F, bright blue skies, no clouds. Perfection.

However, going 6 miles on the first hike of the year was probably a poor choice. This is what I do. If something's worth doing, it's worth doing it until you drop.

I was hoping post-shower to start testing my Rogue Perfumery samples (you guys and the sample pass totally hooked me ), but they're sitting on a mail truck somewhere between the distribution center and my mail box. Oh, so close. GAH.

If I can't try Mousse Illuminee tonight, I suppose I'll dig out MAAI.

I am about to head out on the inaugural hike for 2019 -- nearly a month later than last year's, thanks to all of the terrible weather and the mud. How wonderful to spend time with old friends.

And how wonderful to have a hiking perfume!!

I have been busy getting ready for vacation and now I am finally there! Sedona, Arizona for almost a week. Usually for spring break we take a trip to see my in-laws in KY. This year my husband wanted to take a vacation and I was ALL IN.

SotD yesterday was nothing...up at 3:15 to catch our flight and all my perfume was still packed (we stayed in an airport hotel). Today's SotD was Prada Infusion d'Iris and then a Wildflower Honey perfume oil I bought as my Sedona souvenir. Now SotE is You Or Someone Like You (I mostly brought clean, fresh scents for all of our outdoorsy activities. Let me see if I can attach a picture...
