Rien, because I bought it in Paris and it is an indelible scent memory of Paris.

To me it's one of the best iris scents ever made! Yes you should definitely try it.

Tihota is also wonderful too, my favorite vanilla based fragrance.

Les Heures de Parfum - I L'Heure Promise by Cartier

This has really grown on me. It's the Hermessence-ish one in the Cartier line - Jean Claude Ellena wished he created a whispery, minimalist sandalwood like this. I think once my decant is gone I might get another. It smells fantastic in the Spring heat here in Miami. Can't say enough about this one.

I'm getting a haircut this morning so I'm wearing FeelOud 100K Hybrid (not in the directory). It's a close to the skin sandalwood oil.

Hi all! SotD was Infusion d'Iris again for a morning hike. I am currently scentless after my shower, but planning on Frederic Malle Iris Poudre for afternoon sightseeing and a dinner out. Photos are from last evening's hike as well as this morning's.

I've spent the day wearing Chypre Siam on the left wrist and MAAI on the right wrist, and it has been an illuminating ride with both of them. Smelling them side-by-side has unlocked each fragrance for me in a way I'm not sure would have happened without the comparison. For instance, I didn't realize what a punch of dank patchouli MAAI has in the first 5 minutes. Or how the oak moss enters in a tsunami of sharp green, brutal leather, and skank. I'm more in love with it now that I was even before.

And Chypre Siam ... the deep, warm spice is far more obvious now. And it's gorgeous. In fact, when wearing both Chypre Siam and MAAI, I've come to the conclusion that Chypre Siam is closer to the kind of warm, spicy chypre that Fate Woman is than to the dank, green, leathery chypre that MAAI and Onda are.

This has been a fantastic fragrance day. I refreshed both wrists 3 times, and each progression in each fragrance was more magical than the one before it. So. Much. Fun.
