Default Which Fragrance Family Are You Wearing to Easter or Passover Services?

Which rung of the fragrance wheel are you wearing to Easter or Passover services?

And for those who aren't attending either; if you were planning an important event this weekend, what would you be enveloping yourself with?

I'll start: I'm nearly positive it will be one of the best Fougères I've experienced - Tsar - by Van Cleef & Arpels. Although, it may be a toss up between that & Gucci Nobile.

I’m on the music team, so I have to go fresh and light. Maybe a Bvlgari or Dunhill Icon.

    Nice!

Have you tried Bvlgari's Man Wood? If so, how did you like it?

Not positive as of yet, but perhaps woody.

Which region will you be in, and is weather a factor in your decision?

Gourmand, preferably something that smells like Easter candy. Eau du Marshmallow Peeps, perhaps.

I typically wear citrus scents on Sundays so that is what I’ll be wearing to Mass. Chanel No.19 Poudre is the citrus in my April rotation.

How does the Poudre compare to the Parfum? I loved the scent of 19, but it was too heavy for the heat and humidity down here.

Other, both due to simply not having taken any decision yet but even if would have already decided, would most likely prefer a combination between some of the aforementioned categories (for instance, an Oriental or a fougere with fresh woody tones etc.)

It's quite warm here but not hot, I'll start my Easter church tour at Westminster Abbey later and shall wear..maybe a spritz of Boucheron pour Homme or just some Terre d'Hermes or Mugler Cologne. It's not the occasion to wear much. Somebody didn't tell a woman that at St. Paul's the other time and she had bathed in what smelled like (women's?) Eternity. Didn't really bother me personally but the person I was with made me sit next to her to keep her distance.

I like to associate the Easter season with white florals. I've been testing out my sample of Eau d'Italie and that seems like one that would work well right now with it's magnolia and tuberose heart notes.

I'm not sure I would wear anything to the services themselves. To dinner afterwards, sure.

Regardless, I'd keep it light, and probably apply less than I usually would for a normal day.

Something with the following notes: red eggs, lamb and bunny, cake, red wine, narcissus, smoking natural wax candle and incense.
I'm sure someone will steal my brilliant idea, but I'm fine with that.

I voted "fougere" even though it's more of an aromatic citrus fragrance: I'm wearing Eau Sauvage Parfum 2017 to tonight's dinner and service.
I'm currently selling bottles of the rare cult classic--Keith Urban Phoenix. Send me a private message if you're interested!

I really like the scent they were going for, but it seemed too synthetic, especially as the day went on. Maybe I would get a better feel if I had a clerk spray my wrists at the Dillard's counter, because the Guerlain Homme L'Eau Boisse i put on this morning from a sample tube smelled very plastic-y. Yet when I opened my new bottle just now the scent was extremely refreshing & natural.

So maybe I'll enjoy the Bvlgari more from a glass bottle? Does anyone else have bad experiences from samples in the plastic vials?

I don't go to religious services. I did protest outside the Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall, and I wore Jean Paul Gaultier's Le Male.

Light and sandalwoody seems appropriate for Easter.

An occasion that calls out for original Nautica - that's a new one.

Somewhere I have a bottle of something called Nautica Supercologne - a real oddball I have seen only once, and that's when I bought it. It's in the signature bottle, but the bottle is dark, dark blue. It smells just like original Nautica. I forget the distributor - might be Paul Sebastian. Might be a nice occasion to resurrect that, so to speak.

    Ah - found it. Halston-Borghese:
