Default Which houses in your collection have the best presentation.

Besides the scent, I am very attracted by the design of the bottle and it's presentation, which houses in your collection you like the most.
    For me are the following:

    Bottle:

    AJ Arabia (Widian):

It doesn't look like much in a picture, but the feel and smoothness and heft of the solid glass is quite nice.

    Box / packaging:
by Kilian with the "full presentation":

I generally only purchase this house in the refill bottles, but in this case it was not possible, so I had to go with the full box/bottle.

    Puredistance:

But possibly my favorite house for box/bottle/presentation would be Xerjoff:

    Current Spring Favorites:

    1. Creed - Spice & Wood
    2. by Kilian - Straight to Heaven
    3. Dior - Vetiver
    4. Clive Christian - 1872 for Men
    5. Tom Ford - Rive d’Ambre
    6. Ermenegildo Zegna - Javanese Patchouli
    7. Les Nez - Turtle Vetiver Back
    8. Tom Ford - Grey Vetiver EDP
    9. Creed - Green Valley
    10. Parfumerie Generale - Grand Siecle Intense 7.1

Funny, I love the Xerjoff bottles but the bag really annoys me for some reason

For me, probably Amouage and I also quite like the heft of the Jovoy bottles

You take a picture, which goes to your photo gallery, on basenotes click the square insert image tab and upload your pic.

Here it is, I copied from your wardrobe.

I was looking for that feature!!!!!!!!!!! Where is it located exactly? I prefer to use my iPad. I’m using it now. I hate using my phone. I don’t log onto the site using my phone because everything appears micro-sized.

I don’t know how you did that. How do I upload a pic onto a thread?????? (That way, I can show everybody in the vintage forum my vintage Guerlain L’HB parfum extrait furrow travel spray with the silly, dark blue velvet hat!)

I’m using my Apple iPad instead. The phone is annoying to use. The letters are so tiny, I hate it.

Okay, I’m on a roll......let me give you a shot of my basket. There’s a Masque L’Attesa in there, along with the new Guerlains in my wardrobe.

Will be updating vintage acquisitions as purchased, in the vintage forum!!!!!!!!!!!

That AJ Arabia bottle is drop dead gorgeous to me. Absolutely stunning.

I also enjoy Xerjoff’s presentation. Those bottles are so nice. I also love the Amouage presentation. Jubi XXV is the only full presentation Amouage I have. The rest are tester bottles. Probably my nicest full presentation is of Clive Christian 1872. I love my Roja stuff as well.

But I have a special affinity towards my 250ml flacon of Creed Spice & Wood. I keep it completely hidden from sunlight but pulled it out to snap this quick pick. Just excuse the background as my collection is in complete disarray until I get my new storage set up.

Sent from the bayou, using homing gators.

Xerjoff is nice if a bit excessive.

One house that has poor presentation in my opinion is Boadicea the Victorious, especially for their ridiculous price points.

That’s a shame. Those Creed bottles look mighty tempting to me. Inviting, even. Love the old school? Creed packaging should appeal to your senses because they clearly give a nod to the past. Are you a modern lover? Creed bottles are not dated in appearance; they’re streamlined but not minimalist. Should work with any style of decor, however one chooses to display them. I checked the Creed website, and liked what I saw. I spotted a bottle that passes for one of the modern Shalimars! I must stress, however, that as much as I appreciate the packaging, it’s what’s inside that matters.

No matter, I will be off to the Creed (and CH) boutiques next week for A.E. & A.A.!

Edit to add: My favorite Creed bottle is the tall and delicious-looking jar-of-jam with a piece of fabric hugging the cap. I noticed the emblem on the box looks like wired hair or Memento Mori. Gotta love the Creed style. Must say.
