Wednesday afternoon our back-up PC died. Then today, our lawn mower died. We finally got back our main PC (that died Monday), late this afternoon. Will we have the back-up PC repaired? Not sure. What a week.

Have I told you about the scent of jasmine? Have I spoken about the smell of the sea? The earth is scented. And I perfume myself to enhance what I am. That's why I can not wear a perfume that bothers me. Perfuming is an instinctive wisdom. And like all art, it requires some knowledge of yourself..."

    Happy Easter weekend1

We have been blessed with warm, sunny weather. I took my sister and
niece to Carding Mill Valley near Church Stretton yesterday and we had a
wonderful time walking the hills, fording streams and interacting with the new-born
lambs and their mothers , who were very tame (albeit only because they were after our picnic food!!)

I am wearing Seville a l'Aube for an Easter lunch at my son's house.

    Hello all,

I’m wearing Thierry Mugler Aura today. If I had to wear a signature fragrance, this would be a contender. It just seems to meld with me.

The drywall men are back, preparing the kitchen walls for the cabinet installation on Monday. They are hard workers who maintain focus.

I'm wearing Cologne pour le Soir while I multitask. I have pho broth simmering on the stove, and I'm eating a donut while using a seam ripper to remove scratchy labels from my sweaters. Then I'll do a bit of easy plumbing before getting my pack ready for a hike tomorrow.

HoP, my router died yesterday--maybe a bad day for electronics in more places than one?

Trilby Lark, your kitchen reno sounds amazing. I kept my cabinets (I adore them) but I really wanted a buffet. Sadly there is no room.

Thanks, foxbins! The buffet is located in the “family room” portion of the kitchen, which we use as a dining room. Now the only furniture will be the large table and chairs so there’ll be plenty of room. The entire space will be minimalist by design.

I use a seam ripper to meticulously remove unsightly labels from scarves too. Why, oh why, must it be so difficult?

Kewart the picture is lovely, and what cute lambs! Reminds me of Ireland (unsurprisingly I’m sure <3)

Trilby Lark glad the kitchen remodel is coming along well!

Happy Passover and Easter to those celebrating this weekend.

Yesterday was ridiculously busy and I ran out of the door scentless! Enjoyed my little bottle of Chanel Gardenia EDP in the evening though.

Today started as a typical gray-green drizzly PNW day, but the sun is poking out now, and I’m reveling in my sample of Armani Prive Rose d’Arabie for the second time. Loving it so much and will miss it when it’s gone.... will take some finagling to get the s.o. to agree to spending $300 on one bottle (he IS a dear and becoming more accepting of my new obsession, and has made peace with $150-200 bottles... so we’ll see how this goes!) On the schedule today is some weeding of the garden, some cleaning of the house, and then curling up on the couch with my loves (bf and kitty) and playing The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
