Vintage Shulton - Old Spice Lime

The fragrance was launched in 1966 and discontinued in the 1990's. In 1977 the name was changed to "Fresh Lime". The vintage here is before 1977. I am unable to find any information on the perfumer who produced the scent. It would be great if the corporations who make these household brands would disclose who works on their scents. If anyone finds that kind of info, let me know.

I have samples of Manuel's Rogue Perfumery that I'll be testing. I couldn't help myself and quickly smelled Mousse Illuminee. Very potent. Very natural. I think this fragrance should be conservatively applied with just a light 'mist' type of application as it is, as I said, potent in strength. I won't give any impressions of the scent until after deeper testing and evaluation. I'm looking forward to auditioning the 3 samples I received. (Mousse Illuminee, Tabac Vert and Chypre-Siam).

This one will probably fade off skin after 2 hours, so if I don't reapply, I may choose another nice smelling, fresh, uplifting Sunday fragrance, with really bad performance. I am thinking this:

Once this fades off, which ironically, will be 2 hours after, I will wear my 3rd scent of the day to finish off the day.

Not as poor longevity as the first 2, but still not great. Thus all 3 enjoyable cheapies.

In silence, with body and mind still, a depth of understanding may be achieved that is not available to one who languishes at the mercy of life’s relentless chatter.
