Default Beginner Advice on What Fragrance to Get

    Hi all,
I am new to buying fragrances and I would like to just get a second opinion,
As I live in Hong Kong, most of the stores that sell cologne/fragrances only sell high-end items or price items unreasonably expensive despite HK setting really low taxes on import and export for these items, and no sales tax whatsoever. This is a result of HKs tourism industry driven by mainland Chinese tourists who tend to shop here due to the cheaper prices in HK than in China. Due to all this, shopping at a physical location is unfortunately not a viable option for me, leaving my only option to shop via the internet.

I am a high school student but I do not really care about my masculinity, most in part due to my sexual orientation.
I was looking at the following fragrances
    1. Grey Flannel (Geoffery Beene)
    2. Cool Water (Davidoff)
    3. Victory League (Adidas)

My main concern is if the fragrances will fit me and will not smell out of place on me (especially grey flannel),
    Thanks in advance!

I don’t have any recommendation and hopefully other Basenoters will chime in. Just want to say Welcome to Basenotes!

    This should be fine.

Id pick cool water. Grey flannel is old and a bit divisive. Cool water is clean.
Itís tragic to think that heroic manís great destiny is to become economic man, that men will be reduced to craven creatures who crawl across the globe competing for money, who spend their nights dreaming up new ways to swindle each other.

While the personal favorite of these three is definitely Grey Flannel, actually far likelier to personally recommend either Cool Water or Victory League or even both, due to their added freshness, inoffensiveness and versatility for comparatively little money and thus fairly good return on investment
