Exclamation Courrèges Hyperbole - Tobacco Vanille !

For those of you who love Tobacco Vanille from Tom Ford, (but don't like the price) lol ! Courrèges Hyperbole may be the answer.
See the listed notes and the opinions on the fragrantica directory. It's relatively unknown, but from the few reviewers/owners 7 compare it to Tobacco Vanille.

Had not heard of this one from Courreges before. Will look into it. Thanks.

I haven't heard of this brand before. The Tobacco Vanille that's available the last several years has been inferior to earlier bottles.

You mean the fragrance, not the house Courreges, right?

Reading the reviews it sounds like it's definitely an entry in the "sweet vanilla tobacco" category, but it also sounds like it has its own vibe (the suggestion of a "green" edge is interesting).

If anyone tries it, be sure to report back.

‘Interesting’ name for a fragrance. A little dig at Tom Fords, perhaps?

Here in France those mentioned are all pretty expensive. Even the Tonka from Reminiscence costs €75.

    Courrèges Hyperbole costs €24.

Does it smell more like TV than Tabac Rouge?

For those who already have some "vintage" TV there's no reason to want something very close, unless you want to then sell the TV bottle and pocket some cash. I haven't come across anything that close to my TV but Zara's Rich Warm Addictive is close enough (I have the first formulation of that one), in terms of something close but different enough to be appreciated on its own terms (and it cost me $12 total for 95% of 100 ml bottle). I also had a bottle of a more recent TV formulation and that one I did not consider to be a keeper, because it seemed weaker and not as rich/complex.

I have not tried Tabac Rouge, but I would say that Hyperbole is instantly recognisable as something close to TV.
