Fragrantica just to get extra feedback apart from what I find here.
Also, luckyscent is a great site to navigate through. Some reviews are good there, although the frag descriptions are usually less than helpful, only because luckyscent tends to make every scent out to be a holy grail with their poetic descriptions of the fragrances.

Its amazing at the difference in vibe all of the sites have due to the types of crowds they evidently attract. Tellingly BN is the only one I have an account for and the one that gets most of my attention because, gosh darn it, you lot are just so great! <sniff>

Fragrantica, as equally invaluable for less-complicated, more immediate reasons.

I'm using Fragrantica and Parfumo for evaluating certain stuff. I don't read German Parfumo reviews anymore, because most of them are loaded with so much kitschy bullshit; same with most threads. The features on the business have been quite nice and so were some postings of long-time members. I'm using Fragrantica to get quick impressions of certain scents, but that's it. There are a few Youtube and Instagram channels that I enjoy recently, and some blogs about in-depth perfumery knowledge (I could read about ingredients, formulating, old and modern materials for days nonstop, literally).
So, overall I'm coming back in here since the first days, even if I read much more than I communicate. And I wish there were more veteran bloggers and writers still active.

In addition to some mentioned above, I also check out the perfume shrine blog once in a while as I find her blog quite educational.

Perfume Shrine is one of my indispensables, especially for vintage fragrances. And the site has such gorgeous graphics.

While I love Basenotes, we here can be a bit over-wrought and nuanced with our reviews and comparisons, to the point of being useless sometimes. OK, I'll say it: we Basenoters can be wordy snobs quite often. Sometimes I crave the simplicity of Fragrantica...they're my go-to for a quick-take on a potential purchase.

Agreed here too. I like how they group certain releases - all the Hermessences line grouped together and all the Les Exclusifs grouped together...I like that format.

I also visit Now Smell This blog and Bois de Jasmin every now and then. Their reviews, notes, and guide for newbies were gold to me when I started this passion and hobby.

I prefer Basenotes for the forums, banter, reviews, scent of the day, and just general camaraderie!
