Fragrantica. I like their note breakdown, review accessibility, and wardrobe functionality.

Those are basically the only two sites that I use.

Parfumo-especially as a completing/additional database for the more obscure fragrances hardly ever documented/mentioned on or even absent from Basenotes, Fragrantica, also from a significant number of perfume blogs

Fragrantica, Parfumo rarely and even much less often https://bespokeunit.com/fragrance/ - this is actually not that bad, however it doesn't have a big database.

Youtube reviews are largely worthless with exceptions of course of Nikhil and Wafts in the Loft, my favorites.

Fragrantica NST and Parfumo only to check on new releases.

Mean spirited, nasty, snide, sarcastic, hateful, and rude individuals on Basenotes don't warrant or deserve my or other Basenoters' acknowledgement or respect.

Gotta say Wafts from the Loft are quality. Knowledgeable guys who don’t just talk about the mainstream.

Fragrantica for an 'alternative' set of reviews and notes. Occasionally I read the articles .
NST and What Men should smell like pop up in searches.

Fragrantica's a good resource for notes, and most of the fragrances I'm interested in can be found in their directory. After that, I go to a series of blogs and websites that I've bookmarked over the years. For research purposes, Parfumo and Raiders of the Lost Scent loom large for me.

Pretty much this. Fragrantica gives much better "every day Joe" types of reviews. They get to comparisons and bottom-lines faster.

While I love Basenotes, we here can be a bit over-wrought and nuanced with our reviews and comparisons, to the point of being useless sometimes. OK, I'll say it: we Basenoters can be wordy snobs quite often. Sometimes I crave the simplicity of Fragrantica...they're my go-to for a quick-take on a potential purchase.

I come to Basenotes for the forum; Fragrantica, for the database.

Fragrantica has the advantage of note-voting and similar scent comparisons, but the latter is flawed with excessive downvoting.

Review-wise, Fragrantica has too many flippant and uninformed comments/"reviews" while Basenotes has quality reviews contributions but very few active contributors.

I am slowly getting around to planning on a project (website) that could be quite significant, useful and there's a definite need for it. All I can say is it's about fragrances, but not about fragrances.

Although I don't particularly like Fragranticas forum I do like their reviews. It seems that more of their members review. Basenotes is extremely light on reviews. There are lots active members here who don't review at all.

so true, I also rely on Fragrantica's review specially for blind buys !
