teardrop, I just saw Episode 4 of GOT. Without spoiling the plot, I was less enthused by it overall. Similar to Episode 2, there was a little bit more character interactions in the story than I would've wanted. It felt a bit excessive at times. It didn't seem quite fulfilling but I assume Episode 5 & 6 will compensate for it.

Have I told you about the scent of jasmine? Have I spoken about the smell of the sea? The earth is scented. And I perfume myself to enhance what I am. Sampling a Goutal early this a.m....... I am nearing the bottom of a pile of tiny vials. There are about a dozen or so left. I believe I am almost officially, tired of sampling, for the time being. I have discovered that I am not so easily impressed anymore. I clearly know what I like, too. Mostly Oriental style fragrances are my thing, my primary love. Another observation from the past year's sampling - I just don't like bergamot! It's everywhere. Too much, everywhere...

    Afternoon all,

N.CAL, l watched it last night & wasn't surprised it was another episode more dedicated to character development than action. l enjoyed all those meaningful interactions & foreshadowings of things to come though, & there was one shocking moment that came out of nowhere!

kewart, l have quite a few blooms on my rose bush already, so l think you may be in luck!

HoP, l know what you mean about bergamot. lt's not a favourite note of mine either, but so many fragrances seem to open with it.

l'm getting ready to fly to Glasgow this evening, so l'll be off the radar until we return on Friday. l couldn't decide what fragrance(s) to take with me, so l simply grabbed my purse spray of Narciso, & that's what l'm wearing today. lt's been a whole week since l saw Mr teardrop, & l can't rest now until l've given him an enormous hug!

    ((bear hugs)) for teardrop

Early morning Cross Fit, I wore a tiny spray of Nio by Xerjoff again (those citrus notes are so uplifting!) and yes N Cal Frag Reviewer I think in the context of Neroli Prominent Fragrances it is very good but I would never buy it, it's way overpriced. I find many other quality neroli fragrances for 1/4 of the price. Still - I thoroughly enjoyed sampling it. And that Mysore 1984 sandalwood oil by Ensar Oud was unique in that as soon as you apply it to skin the woody notes are very strong. Which is almost unheard of when it comes to Mysore Sandalwood (unless it has been blended with synthetic notes). Still...it doesn't last that long. The longevity is below average - whereas my bottle of vintage Mysore I own lasts much longer. I guess it doesn't matter that much - the Ensar Oud one is disco'd.

Today I have a whole *bunch* of things I want to wear as I got 7 decants in last night, 1 of which I already wore last night (Lamplight Penance by Chatillon Lux) but today I went right for the one that I am most intrigued by (and also is officially disco'd):

    Bonheur by Bortnikoff Perfumes
