Question Amazing Perfumed Shower Gels and Soaps ?

I recently discovered a shower gel from Cottage : Argan Oil Shower Gel which has an incredibly strong oriental fragrance, (a Nag Champa incense sticks stlye perfume) that lasts and lasts.

I don't use them often, but I really liked Molton Brown for a few and H2K of Harrogate https://www.h2kskincare.com I still have a bit of the Organic Lifestyle (cucumber scent) still in my shower. Sensual is good too. I found with Molton Brown you really have to smell them in the store, but some are safe blind buys. They often have really good limited editions.

    L'Occitane is also really great.

Soap, we have a Xmas market come to Belfast each year and the French Soap Man comes over from France. Actually, he is from Belfast but lives in France but his wife and daughter come over with him to stay with his family. His soap stand is amazing 100% vegetal some are fragranced with well-known perfumes. I got for the Asses Milk(yes real asses milk as I asked and a woman keeps a herd for their milk not far from him), and the goat's milk is my favourites. The lather is also mousse-like and great for shaving legs with.

Also adding bar soaps and shower gels from Yardley, especially their English Lavender series, as well as non-fragrance brand that can be scented as great as if these soaps/shower gels would have been released by a fully-fledged perfume making one: anywhere from Irish Spring, since Dove was mentioned, also their argan oil product line to Nesti Dante.

Sandalwood soap by Roget & Gallet is one I enjoy.

the amouage shower gels smell pretty strong. they are kind of a weird consistency compared to other shower gels though, dunno if that matters.

Mugler's Angel (Celestial?) Shower Gel - my favorite softer version of Angel. Amazing.

    Several expensive ones...

But since you are in France, I remember I tried once a Marius Fabre Jasmin soap that was quite intense and dirty (in a good way).

    Gotta try that.

Guerlain makes excellent soaps and shower gels. I've used Habit Rouge, Vetiver and Mitsouko. I have some Mitsouko soap that's about forty years old and it smells like it could be brand new. Hugely rich and smooth like the vintage edp, or even parfum, but softer. Whatever, it's mesmerizing.

Looks like France still sells the HR.

Also remembered to recommend another great find for an unisex sandalwood shower gel scent would love to see released in fragrance strength
(but so far their company does not seem to be in this line of work, unless owned/taken over/bought at some point by a larger conglomerate also active in fragrances, at least having no knowledge about it if so), the respective shower foam being Relax by Dr. Spitzner.

Not only great for sandalwood, but also for Mediterranean/marine notes in general and while on the costlier yet not extremely overpriced side, it still delivers good value for its going rate, along with unlikely good performance of its characteristic, particularly sandalwood notes and while not very often seen in stores, easily delivered to most EU and non EU countries.
