Default Which fragrances remind you of cold mountain air?

I visited Banff national park in Canada recently and loved the scent of the brisk cold mountain air. What fragrances do you know that encapsulate this scent accurately? Creed Silver Mountain Water and Geir Ness are two frags I own that do it well. Any other ideas?

Agree 100%, it really evokes the image of snow-capped mountains to my mind. An aptly named scent.

Most definitely Amouage Figment Man, at least for the first few minutes.

After that, it's the smell of fresh mountain air combined with the smell of vegetation and damp earth.

    It's quite extraordinary.

Possibly also Sir Irisch Moos (although this one closer, in all fairness, not just to cold mountain air but also fougere and mossy hints as well), but also Fire & Ice Cool by Revlon, 4711 Ice, to name only a few

Here's an oddball pick for sure... but... y'know what always smells cold to me? MFK, Masculin Pluriel. I'm amazed they don't list mint in the notes, because I get a big dose of minty lavender.

Yep, it is! Definitely worth a try (but needs to be 2-3 big sprays to get the true effect).

In really in regards to a specific fragrance, but anytime I shave and splash an aftershave on, you get that cool rush to your face. Feels like being out in the snow on top of a mountain, or skiing down a hill. Whether it be Old Spice or Brut, whatever, it always gives me that sensation.

Silver Mountain Water and Mefisto seem way way too sharp and floral to be something fresh or cool...

Amouage Figment Man, I don't get anything close to fresh, but dank geosmin and leathers, yes.

I'd guess Dsquared2 He Wood Rocky Mountain Wood for its crisp vetiver.

This sounds very interesting, probably the closest to what I would think of as mountain air. I definitely need to sample this.

I will say that while I do like SMW, to me it has almost a kind of futuristic, fantasy/sci-fi mountain vibe. That cold, metallic, floral effect doesn’t quite equate with a “real” mountain in the way more earthy scents do. It’s more Olympus than Everest.

    Que scay-je?
