^ well guys, for me, Tdh just smells like something that pidgeon holes one into either a stuffy wall street suit or a wedding. I wouldnt be able to see a young person let alone a teenager wear it.

Already a nice collection and some great suggestions.

From what I've tried and know, here's what I would suggest for a young guy at dinner parties outside/near the beach.

Tahitian Waters - First scent I thought of when trying to picture the scenrio. I wear it best when on vacation in warm weather at nights. Reminds me of a campfire by the beach.
    CH Men Privť
    A*Men Pure Havane
    Ferragamo Uomo Signature
    Bulgari Man Black Orient
    Riflesso
    Le M‚le Essence de Parfum
Currently wearing: Jaguar Pace by Jaguar

Is this exclusive to Tdh or do you feel the same about the vetiver genre in general? I personally think it is one of great versatility, that any kind of person can wear.

    It is, in-fact, my SOTD. I'm a 21 y-o male.

I am not the biggest fan of vetiver, I do respect it has a place in my wardrobe and wear Grey vetiver a lot ( at work office mostly..as I cannot see wearing this to anything else like a party or a night out on the town)... i do find vetiver generally kind of relegated to more gentlemanly business or business casual affairs. But TDH very much so imo. I have a small bottle of it at home and hardly ever touch it. I dont hate it, just find no use for it.

I agree with your sentiment about vetiver, but not so much about TdH. It's too bad that you seldom reach for it. But, everyone has different tastes.

^ right.. that is what makes this so interesting. Fragrance is so subjective.
My fragrance tastes are more effeminate and also the heavier middle eastern incense types.

Not only fragrances are subjective - almost everything is. Well except laws of physics and math

Its funny, always thought of tdh like a polo and shorts frag. Not like pajama casual, but dressed up relaxing, say at a baseball game or something. I dont know if i actually feel like it would be dressy enough for a suit. Not dandy like prada lhomme, or as refined as a guerlain. So subjective stuff, lol.
Itís tragic to think that heroic manís great destiny is to become economic man, that men will be reduced to craven creatures who crawl across the globe competing for money, who spend their nights dreaming up new ways to swindle each other.
