Hello and best to everyone. Our high expectations were only exceeded by yesterday’s stellar performances. Jackson as King Lear was astonishing - she owned the role, truly making the gender issue irrelevant - and so were her cast mates. We were blown away. A tender scene between Cordelia and Lear destroyed me. And Gloucester brought down the house with this: “‘Tis the time’s plague when madmen lead the blind.”

SOTD is Ormonde Jayne Qi. Enjoy your day, all.

Jon, this is a perfect visual representation of Mousee Illuminee! I want to spend the afternoon walking in that beautiful forest. I have got to get myself to the redwood forests in northern California. I suspect I'll never want to leave.

I forgot to post my SOTD yesterday I was busy helping my partner out at his job (he fractured his toe and is on crutches - [[wink to Momma Quarry...the Universe is apparently trying to teach us a lesson!]]), going to the beach with a friend, taking a long midday nap and going out dancing at night. I wore Colonia Body Lotion by Acqua di Parma (a gift from a friend - heavily scented with the scent of Colonia), Jicky vintage EdT by Guerlain, Tabac 28 by Le Labo (I smelled it at the Miami Le Labo boutique - love!) and Attar AT by Tauer.

Today we woke up late to the sound of our neighbors who just moved in, in the apartment below us, with music booming and the floor vibrating. So...I went downstairs and they were nice and responded right away and turned it down. Made breakfast and lots of coffee now and I woke up in the mood for incense so I'm back wearing my new 'incense love':

Omani Frankincense Special Reserve by Rising Phoenix

I want enough of this to pour a whole bunch of it in a hot bath and come out smelling like Cleopatra, lol

Catching up this morning--Get well wishes to Mr. Quarry and Mike's partner. Sympathetic pain here for knee and toe issues.

I'm wearing D600 and planning on going through my perfume wardrobe, looking for things not loved enough to keep, to pass on at the Meetup.

Sounds like you might have been overwhelmed by goosebumps, tdem. I almost am just imagining that live performance. Thanks for the photo.

Ow, ow, ow, owey, ouch -- fractured toe. Sympathies for your fella, Mike.

Thanks, foxbins, Mr. Q is okay now as long as he doesn't bend his knee or sleep on his side.

It has been years since I wore Bond No. 9 New Haarlem. I see it's back on Saks' site. I think it wasn't produced for a while due to some ingredient being inacessible for a time. Don't think I'd spring for a whole bottle when we're at Saks, but maybe. Cedar and coffee, yummm.
