Default My summer wardrobe needs your advice

    Dear gents in this forum,
My summer wardrobe are as follows (in random order)
    1.Caron the Third Man
    2.Chanel PM
    3.Diptyque Tempo
4,Guerlain Vetiver: Although I love this bottle very much, it can never be my No.1 choice in summer because of tobacco noted.
5.Aesop Marrakech: Aesop Hwyl is even better, but too warm in hot seasons. I wear Aesop Hwyl in cold days more.
    6.Chanel Egoiste
    7.Aramis Tuscany
8.Aramis Havana: I find it a bit too sweet in warm days.

Now I want to add 1 or 2 frags to my wardrobe.
I like frags with distance, coldness, and calmness.
I can never stand with sweet or aqua noted frags.
Niche or designers' frags are all welcome.
Any forthcoming opinions are highly appreciated.

Our tastes are so different that I can't make a good faith recommendation.

I adore wearing Aramis Havana on a hot day!

How about a vetiver without tobacco? $$$ Malle Vetiver extraordinaire is the freshest I can think of. But CDG vetiveru will do as well.

Egoiste for the summer has me really puzzled...

    Dear Sir Cacio,
I am very grateful for your advice about FM Vetiver extraordinaire.
Besides, Chanel Egoiste tends to be too warm in hot seasons (especially outdoors).

    Thank you, freewheelingvagabond sir.
In my summer wardrobe, Caron the Third Man and Aesop Marrakech are the most aloof two.
Yatagan has been on my to-try list for a long while.

In cool weather, Havana stays a bit too muted; it stays shadowy and mossy, but that's not its strong point. There are many other fougere-y fragrances that do the "shadowy green" thing more vividly than Havana does.

What makes Havana is a masterpiece is the way that it transforms in heat, with the shadowy green gradually giving way to a vibrant and dazzling array of spices. Someone here described it as being like a Cuban patio party, alive with jazz and booze.
