    Czech & Speak No. 88

of the ones you listed, the most apropos and "fitting in" would be Bois Du Portugal, smells like old money.

Nothing harsh. No flankers. No Tom Ford (sorry, Brooks).

Dior Homme Cologne would be great.

I'm struggling with Tosca, but since it takes place in Italy, I'll say La Via Profumo Venezia Giardini Segreti

For Carmen, it's obviously Bull's Blood by Imaginary Authors

I, for one, think Ombré Leather pairs very well with the navy blue velvet dinner jacket and black trousers I usually wear when I attend the opera. Elegant, but with a nice contemporary edge.

Oh, I forgot to add that I'm taking a decant of La Nuit de L'Homme.

Well, you certainly know your Romantic operas. What would you wear to Gounod's Faust?

Whatever you choose, stick to a light application only. You'll be sitting in close company for hours, and your neighbours might not share your taste in fumes.

From those, I'd say Bois du Portugal from Creed. Something classy for such an event. And whatever you choose, go easy on the sprays.

A big +1 on this. Other than close-wearing skin-hugging scents any other option screams “social faux pas”. And FFS, do keep those intrusive smartphones away.
