Have I told you about the scent of jasmine? Have I spoken about the smell of the sea? The earth is scented. And I perfume myself to enhance what I am. Happiest of birthdays to all celebrating today.
I'm in Pomelo Paradis today, again. Lightly applied. The recuperating bf is doing well, but in a lot of pain. It was expected. But the last thing I want to do is overpower him with my scent. So I'm going easy.
Delighted in the stories and photos from the Chicago meetup. More please!

After a family reunion yesterday, followed by a smaller breakfast this morning, I'm back home and ready to relax. To that end, I thought some Jersey parfum would be perfect but I very nearly dropped the open bottle, which was not relaxing at all! Think I'll just park it front of the television and see if I can stay out of trouble for the rest of the afternoon.

Quarry, thanks so much for everything at the meetup. Hope you have a very happy birthday!

I'm wearing samples today...Gucci Guilty Cologne from Saks. Disgusting scratchy synthetic mess. Gross.

Wearing Tauer L'air du Desert Marocain today...I picked up a sample at the swap yesterday because I always felt this was one I just never understood. It's so well received... well I still feel that way after wearing it again today some 5 years later. There's this strange rubbery-sweet amber note that just feels weird to me. It's interesting for sure and I can see why people like it but I think I'm still firmly in the meh camp.

It turned out to be such a beautiful day today. My wife and I talked a lot about the meetup...went to a local outdoor Mississippi BBQ place on the river and then went for a long walk with the dog at Raceway Woods. Raceway is a super cool place out by me that used to be used for car races in the early 1900s. There's old track asphalt overgrown by forest and lots of bike trails that have been closed due to rains. Hopefully next time I'm back I'll gave my bike!
