    Default Creed Recommendations for "Freshness"

Hey there, first actual thread post. But I currently own Aventus, SMW, and Viking in a decant. I actually grew tired of that release unfortunately.

I currently would like something very fresh for the warmer months coming up. With the 2016 Invictus Aqua selling for more than I can get creed for, creed is actually my alternative oddly, and I love their distinct freshness vibe that I've noticed from this house. I did manage to get a sample of Creed Aqua Originale, however I can't seem to find this anywhere?

I currently own Bleu de Chanel EDT. Never cared for the majority of department store mens fragrance with a few exceptions that blew me away at least.

I am currently interested in MI, GIT, and Erolfa? But iv'e never smelled erolfa. I actually like the masculine florals (SMW?) Thing's that a man in his late 20's that stand out.

Green Irish Tweed would be my pick, I'd love to get it for cheap as you say you can lol. Seriously legendary fragrance, and without it it's doubtful that the majority of "fresh" fragrances we have today would even exist. I wonder how amazing it must have smelled in the 80s.

Iv'e got a sample of this too. It seems like a more masculine MI? Just used some virgin island water and wow, I am actually losing my mind over it. Definitely fresh. Island Fresh to be exact.

Any other ones that are more aquatic?

For Creed freshness, I would recommend checking out Original Vetiver.

Original Vetiver, maybe Erolfa, Royal Water, check out Jardin d'Amalfi just in case as well as Original Cologne/Pure White Cologne.

I’d also recommend Original Vetiver for freshness. It’s my top choice for high humidity weather. Green Irish Tweed, Himalaya, MI and Erolfa are also great summer fragrances.
I’d also sample Sel Marin by Heeley if you enjoy Erolfa.

I just put on a little of my royal water sample on my wrist, dry down is super citrus powered. but it does have a more mature note to it.. It's not so much my taste, nor my girl friends.

Still of course taking the sexy recommendations. Is it me or does Virgin Island Water have a slight John Varvatos artisan pure vibe to it?

JV AP and VIW have nothing in common. VIW is million times better and natural, while AP opens like kitchen cleaning citrusy product

Even though Himalaya smells like 90s redux its got that fresh vibe in spades as others have mentioned. Aside from that there isn't much from Creed that has a fresh overload like that as their scents just don't vibe like that compared to many other brands who have the fresh game on lock. Original Vetiver is worth a spin but its lacking that something something that I seek in a fragrance.

What is worth trying however is layering Virgin Island Water with Aventus in a 1:3 ratio (One wide VIW across the abs/torso with 2 Aventus on chest and 1 to the neck) as the combo is out of this world and may just fit the bill for what you're seeking as the components together create far more than they do alone and its my go to for the warmer days when I want a change.

Just go to somewhere with a Creed counter and smell them.

Different people will have different experiences, for example I would never wear GIT or MI as I simply really don't like either of them.

Are you in the USA or UK?

GIT or MI are great. For a fresher and very modern version of the Green Irish Tweed dihydromyrcenol /violet but fresher I recommend Frapin L'Humaniste - nice fresh juniper green gin and tonic fresh aromatics.
Top Bottles: • costa azzurra acqua • black leather j-scent • unum Io non ho mani • terre d'hermes parfum • andree putman l'original • tonic blanc • xerjoff nio • no.9 bukhoor elixir • kosmala no. 4 apres l'amour • 19-69 capri • mandarino di amalfi acqua

I am in the US, Southern CA, so I am sure there has to be a boutique somewhere?

Also I am definitely digging MI and Virgin Island Water. I also am a fan of GIT. I realized the acqua Originale I had was Cedar Blanc. That was honestly a nice refreshing take on the aquas I smell today. I could smell the coconut on me all day regarding VIW. Not a fan of the royal water vibe if that helps.

There's one in Beverly Hills. You can sample at Bloomingdales though. My picks for a fresh Creed are Aventus (2017 and later) and GIT.
