Anyone give this a try? I managed to test it at Duty Free in Dubai. It was also available in 125ML/250ML.

    Never heard of it, but:

And several Dior websites have Spice Blend pages, but none of them work now: https://www.dior.com/en_us/products/...christian-dior

I guess we'll hear more about it soon. Sure sounds better than all the recent pastel pretty waters combined.

I would guess so since it's available in 125ml and 250ml like the others in the line.

Just hoping Dior puts the brakes on their synthetic leanings lately. I have loved many Dior releases, but the latest DHS is far more synthetic smelling than previous versions, and Sauvage was a chemical nightmare. So, hopefully this will not be down that path. Certainly a must try that I am cautiously optimistic to get my nose on.

Interesting. If I remember correctly, there was some talk about DHP going away, but more or less "replaced" or re-imaged. Wonder if this is the case. I got my bottle of DHP last summer for a measly $63 shipped. One of the better deals I've had lately.

Balade Sauvage doesn't seem so synthetic to me. Of the new ones, Terra Bella is the one that seemed to be a bit too synthetic. It smelled like cheap, orange candy at times on my skin.

I was fortunate enough to have a quiet preview & sampling of Maison Christian Dior Spice Blend last week in Harrods, here in London, which I thought quite a privilege. I was told that it will be available in all the usual sizes and also possibly the smaller 40ml size but I’m not 100% sure about that. It’s original name was going to have ‘Rum’ somewhere in it but from what I understand, this was discounted because of the association to alcohol with a section of the brands market.

Spice Blend is a departure from most of the recent light floral Maison Dior/Dior Privee releases, in as much as the name says, is a light spicy blend of notes, not dissimilar in many ways to Santal Noir in my opinion but a fair bit lighter and a little more complex. Unfortunately, I wasn’t given a list of notes to go on at the time but there’s definitely cinnamon in there and some rose too, possibly,a light clove on the opening? I would say it fits in to the trilogy of Purple Oud - Santal Noir - Spice Blend, in that order. The opening was very nice; light and spicy but not as intense as Santal Noir to my nose. The dry down however is simply heavenly!! I’m sitting here now writing this with the scent card in front of me and even after a week sitting on my dresser, the fragrance is still very strong on the card which I find incredible these days and definitely shows the quality of ingredients that are used.

Unfortunately, there were no samples available at the time to give a longer testing but I believe the fragrance is due to launch here in London over the next couple of weeks, so late June/early July. As an absolutely HUGE fan of Dior Privee/Maison Dior, I’m very excited about this one, as to be honest, the more recent light floral releases haven’t done a great deal for me personally, so I hope to get a longer wearing of this very soon!
