    Default 3.4oz (100ml) vs 6.7oz (200ml) Frags

Gents, I am trying to determine which is better to get. So here is a summary: I do not purchase frags very often and prior to travelling abroad, I'd check for frags within my budget. Sometimes there is only a 30$ difference to aim for the larger bottle. Purchasing in my country is a bit too expensive and I believe majority are fake. I also try to travel abroad every 2 years. Bought two frags in 2017 and they are almost finish. Each were about 60ml. I also live in a tropical climate. My budget for 2 or 3 frags is US$300. Frags I'm looking into are:
    1. Versace Eros
    2. Paco Rabanne One Million
    3. Dolce & Gabanna The one EDP

    Other options are:
    1. Dolce & Gabanna Light Blue
    2. Versace Dylan Blue
    3. Dior Sauvage EDP
    4. Acqua Di Parma Colonia
    5. YSL La Nuit

    The questions are:
    1. Is it a good idea to purchase two different frags at the largest size?
    2. Will the quality of the scent degrade over time, if kept up to 3 or 4 years? [I kinda allow my frags to last, without over using]
    3. Apart from considering Versace Eros as an all season frag, which other all season frag is good and available in the USA (maybe at Macy or Sephora)?

I recommend Versace Man Eau Frâiche for your climate. Comes in 200ml too.
Eros is better as a night time scent but YSL La Nuit de L'Homme is the best option.
Another day option would be Terre d'Hermès, not on your list, also comes in 200ml

It is true that the pricepoint between a 6.7 oz and a 3.4 oz is only about $30 or $40. In that regard, it's a pretty good deal. I just don't buy that big of a bottle because it would take me too long to go through it.

Not if stored properly out of direct light and away from extreme heat.

Set your sights higher than settling for mainstream mediocrity.

If you really have to buy designer, for cost considerations, these are to my way of thinking infinitely preferable.

    Dior Homme/DHI/Cologne
    Prada Amber pour homme/intense
    ADG Profumo/Essenza
    Bel Ami Vetiver
    Terre d'Hermes/Parfum/Eau tres Fraiche
    Dior Fahrenheit/Parfum
    Bleu de Chanel
    Cartier L'Envol

These are all relatively easy to find and not that expensive here. Some of them I'm less enthusiastic about, like Bleu de Chanel, but it would suit your purposes to a T.
    Most worn:

Black Comme des Garçons, Borneo 1834 Serge Lutens, Patchouli Santa Maria Novella

    Currently wearing: Lui by Mazzolari

Not on your list, but Dior Homme Cologne is a good one.

I will take your suggestion into consideration. Hopefully I can smell them before purchase if I do travel.

But was also seeking the opinion if it is a good idea to go with a large bottle.

Sadly, I am not sure if this is available in the US, especially from Sephora or Macy. I don't recall ever coming across that brand.

That's what I thought, though in my case, i may have to consider the larger bottle due to frags being overpriced as well as chances are of them being fake. I was thinking to go with the 1.7oz (50ml) and purchase few different frags. The extra bucks to purchase the 3.4 and 6.7 could get me 2 to 4 others at 60ml.

If you are a liberal sprayer of if you plan on wearing every day, I'd say go for it.

I would love to consider your suggestions, as long as I can afford to purchase. Bleu De Chanel for example is over budget even at the smallest bottle (1.7oz). Some of the others may not be found through Macy and Sephora. Possibly on FragranceX or FragranceNet.

    1. I guess if you like the fragrances then it would be a good idea. I personally prefer the smaller bottles mostly because they are easier for me to grip and therefore spray more accurately.

    2. As long as you keep it away from strong light and heat, from what I've read you should be fine. I notice that if you don't use a fragrance much, like multiple months, the liquid left in the sprayer seems to go stale, so you might want to spray it out (good 5 sprays) to refreshen it.

    3. If "all seasons" means any weather condition, I'd say Eros is pretty good, it seems that not many people consider it a Warm Weather scent but it worked decently for me. Invictus is a another good option in terms of weather versatility, although the Invictus Flankers are not as versatile, IMO. Seems like something you may enjoy considering your other options, which I find are all pretty great fragrances. Worth a sample for sure if you haven't already. Wanted might be another good option to try.

Although I have the Dior Homme Intense EDP, do you suggest getting the EDT?

That's what I thought. My research seems to show that Eros is good for any season. Stronger than Invictus, I believe. I wish I could find a website that could supply me with reasonable to free samples. Scentbird seems to be a bit on the expensive side.

When I said Wanted might be worth a try, I forgot to mention it wasn't for its versatility, just seems like another option you might enjoy. Eros, Invictus, etc. seem more versatile.

But anyways, yeah the Mint seems to help Eros feel a bit cooler in the Warmer Weather.

Fragrancenet has great prices and should be more reliable in terms of legitimacy because the samples are the company packaged kind. Outside of that, some companies might give you free samples if you contact them. Another option would be Sephora for 3 free sample a per visit, although you'd have to go to the store to get them.

200mls bottles as well as 250ml bottles are good if you plan on wearing it on a regular basis. They also would be ideal for potential splits.
