    Happy birthday, Twolf!

    N. CAL, congrats on your milestone!

Today I'm wearing Les Amoureux de Peynet by Molinard - the citrusy and slightly spicy scent of it makes me happy and energized. I first sniffed it almost half a year ago and fell in love with it - it just felt very "me". I finally bought it as a birthday present for myself - should have done it earlier.
We had extremely hot two weeks, and finally the weather is getting a bit milder - and it's nice. I will be going to a metal festival during the weekend, I hope we'll have a nice and not too extreme weather.

Morning all, & Happy Birthday, Twolf, if you're reading this!

lt's cloudy here with possible thunderstorms predicted for later, so l'll be popping out for groceries early on before continuing to get stuff done indoors.

l'm sampling Eau de Nyonya by Auphorie today. More thoughts to come in the usual thread, but this is an unusual & extraordinarily well-balanced gourmand-oriental. N.CAL, have you tried this one?

Have I told you about the scent of jasmine? Have I spoken about the smell of the sea? The earth is scented. And I perfume myself to enhance what I am. That's why I can not wear a perfume that bothers me. Perfuming is an instinctive wisdom. And like all art, it requires some knowledge of yourself..."

It's been a while since Twolf was here, hasn't it? Happy Birthday if you're checking in!

    Congrats N.Cal on 35K!

I'm wearing Civet for a trip to get more tomato cages. My gardener neighbor says it's okay to let the plants sprawl, but I tried that and they got all tangled and messy. Also, the brief spell of unseasonably hot weather is over, so the house is chilly again. I sat down in the bathroom this a.m. and thought, "I miss my Korean heated toilet seat." So I've bought one. They say travel is broadening, and apparently my horizons now encompass frivolities like a warm butt in the morning.

    Congratulations NCal! Very impressive stats.

I'm in Eau Parfumée au Thé Vert today from a small travel coffret. I like the extreme version better, though this is lovely.

If it's something you use daily, it can't be totally frivolous. Shycat, can you verify that rationale?

N.Cal, 36k! Congrats. Have you always been an over achiever?

Sampling L'Atessa. I liked the opening, but I can't detect much substance after a few minutes. It just makes me want to apply Misia edt to turn up the volume.
