Congrats to sjg3839 on his 42K milestone post

Thanks ClockworkAlice, tdem1961, cazaubon, Jon, ExtremeK, sjg3839, foxbins, Hazel5, Quarry, ineespenes, CapriDog, PerfumedLady, CuddleCat for all the milestones wishes

teardrop, I posted my initial impressions of Eau de Nyonyza in the Samples thread back in April. In short it was a nice pleasing gourmand, a combination of chocolate and rice. Very sensual, not too sweet. Have you had any luck getting samples of other Auphorie scents?

foxbins, I don't get the logic of having a heated toilet seat. It's weirds me out.

    Going with Rogue Chypre-Siam today

Morning all, & congrats to sjg on your milestone!

Oops N.CAL, l'd forgotten that you already posted your impressions! l ordered my sample directly from Auphorie, having scoured the internet for other sources. l only got this one, because apart from the already discontinued Mayura, none of the others particularly interested me. Belated congrats on your milestone, BTW!

Not feeling the need for a heated toilet seat here either, but the thought of foxbins with a warm, happy butt makes me smile. And it made last night's posts very chuckle-worthy.

No thunderstorms here as yet, but it's still cloudy & very humid. Thinking l might sit down & write some reviews today. l'm sampling Jardin de Kerylos this morning.

Thanks teardrop There's a chance that I might be able to try Mayura and a few others from Auphorie from a generous BNer, fingers crossed.

Have I told you about the scent of jasmine? Have I spoken about the smell of the sea? The earth is scented. And I perfume myself to enhance what I am. Hello and best to everyone. SJG, congratulations on your milestone!

Re heated toilet seats: I wouldn’t want a hot seat but one with the chill off might be nice on an extra-cold morning. LOL, maybe someone could invent a toilet seat with a choice of heat settings.

SOTD is Kenzo Summer. Enjoy your day.

    Surprise. It's raining. Again.

Foxbins, you may have given me the perfect birthday gift idea for Dear Daughter. She's always cold (Raynaud syndrome + low-fat veganism). Thank you!

I've been looking into heated toilet seats. For no more difference in price than there is from the regular ones, I'm getting one! Granted, I am not browsing the almost $700 heated seats. But I did see one with FOUR temperature settings for a reasonable price! While I like the idea of a warm bum, I do see the logic of cold tush/hot coffee. It sure is a wake-me-up!

I'm in Diorling today; have a good day all!

Quarry, Shangri-La has been discontinued, so no need to contemplate further! Congratulations to sjg!

As for heated toilet seats, I could have really used one of those when I lived in an unheatable flat in the southwest of France. Nowadays I live in places where the indoor temperature is sufficient to keep the toilet seat comfortable.

Pulled out my backup bottle of HdP 1969 and this smells a lot more blah than I remembered. May have been reformulated. I layered some Tauerville Patchouli Flash to give it some character.

First of all, congratulations to SJC on your milestone.
Heated toilet seat? My first thought was "What the heck?" but then I recalled my early college days when I lived in a farmhouse with no central heat, That early morning "pit stop" to the bathroom was brutal. A heated toilet seat would have been most welcome!
I ordered samples directly from Auphorie's website: Red Lantern (now discontinued), Miyako, L'Anima Della Rosa & Eau De Nyonya. It didn't take long at all.

SOTD is bond No. 9's Jade from the Dubai series.
It's that time of year again where my daughter asks; "Mom, why does the cat smell like Chamade?"

    Hello all,

Yep, wearing Oud Ispahan again. The auto dealer loaned me a new Nissan 370Z that’s parked in my garage. Yesterday, I took it out on some back roads and up Pacific Coast Highway. Today, I’m heading for the hills. It’s a true sports car. Let’s.Make.Some.Noise! I drove a Datsun 280Z back in the day, and other English and Italian sports cars too. I think I’m a goner...
