    Default Wedding gift ideas

Hi all, it's been a while since I've been on BN. Life happens. Anyway a good friend of mine is getting married this summer. I would love to give him and his bride a gift related to fragrances. I was thinking about a gift/discovery set. Does anyone know of a good house that has solid offerings? They're both semi frag heads if that makes a difference. Any other ideas? Thanks in advance.

My favorite quirky house is Etat Libre d'Orange, which has a sample set of all their collection. If you want to splurge, Amouage has (extremely expensive) sets.

Once, for a wedding, I gave a couple of perfumes including one called "Vive la mariee" (hail the bride) by parfums de Rosine. A nice rose, but really, it was for the name.

Xerjoff would be a good choice. The 17/17 Stone label is a very good collection.

As a fan of discovery/travel sets, I enjoyed those from these houses:

    Ormonde Jayne
    Amouage
    Diptyque
    Le Jardin Retrouve

l agree that those "his & hers" sets from Amouage would make a wonderful wedding gift.

l believe Frederic Malle also does a nice coffret.

Can you give us any idea of your budget?

Atelier Cologne offers a nice discovery set of their scents.

Seconding Xerjoff and adding Memo Paris, especially from the Les Echapees collection, as good suggestions for discovery sets on the pricier side however also nevertheless good value for money. Same with Amouage, another seconded suggestion previously mentioned, especially if getting a better price on such set on sites like Notino/(formerly) Beautyspin is an available option, while also further adding houses like Rania J, Micallef or similar.

    Good to see you.

I'd suggest the coffret / gift sets from Amouage, Chanel Les Exclusifs, Malle (not sure if still available), Hermessence or Ormonde Jayne.

    +1 on Amouage

    My suggestion though:

Yes, it's not exactly cheap, but you get 69 samples for both bride and groom to enjoy. I'd only get it or any other large discovery set for that matter if they really enjoy fragrance, though. You don't want it languishing in a cupboard somewhere.
