Aventus cologne might be a better choice.

Most of those don't strike me as summer heat friendly.
    Most worn:

Black Comme des Garçons, Borneo 1834 Serge Lutens, Patchouli Santa Maria Novella

Yeah, my wardrobe is weak in terms of summer frags I like to run Dunhil Icon, but it does not feel that good for the upscale event.

From your list: especially Aventus, original Givenchy Gentleman or Dior Homme Parfum, either of these suiting the venue, the occasion, the outfit and the weather quite appropriately

+1. I think most of the other ones would be too heavy. Enjoy your diner!

I think a spray or two of Aventus would work given the variables mentioned.
Grey Flannel by Geoffrey Beene should cost $275 for a 100 ml.

Aventus or DHP, just go easy on the sprays with DHP and it can work in the heat perfectly fine.

From the above description alone, I pictured Tom Ford (the man himself) in the ad for his Grey Vetiver EdP scent.

It may work in 25C, but I don't think much of the scent itself. I just pictured that image in my head when I read your post.
