    Default Amouage Portrayal Woman

Hi. I originally had the Man version of Amouage Portrayal on my test list, but ultimately had a change of heart. It just sounds too plain and not even worth a shot to me. The women's version sounds more intriguing and I might buy a sample for my wife to try. If any of you ladies have tried it or are planning to sample it please let me know your thoughts. They now have pre orders for the Portrayal samples to be shipped at the beginning of July at Luckyscent.com.
I will hold off of the Portrayal Woman sample until after I get a sample of Amouage Fate Woman for my wife. Any feedback on the Portrayal Woman would be greatly appreciated!

I've tried the women's. It's a more impressive construction. Starts off like it's gonna be a linear jasmine frag but then it transforms into tobacco..then back to jasmine...and so on. Like it flicks back and forth between jasmine and tobacco... plus you've got some other nuances of vanilla and elemi going on. Very very clever.

I will definitely sample the women's. It has gotten my attention. Thanks again!

Probably many of the women's offereings are a bit more interesting than the men's counterpart. I know for sure Epic , Memoir, Lyric, and Journey are.

I have bottles of Memoir woman and Journey woman , and they are really great.

I was also considering Epic as well.

Received a sample of Amouage Portrayal Woman. Impressive! My wife and I enjoy that one. The scent indeed starts off strong with a blast of jasmine. Later in the drydown, it mellows a bit and vanilla mixed with a bit of tobacco comes out- pleasantly. Throughout it all, it goes back and forth between jasmine and vanilla/tobacco. BRILLIANT! My wife thinks it's bottle worthy and I agree. I'm getting her a 100ml. I recommend it!

Yes, I liked it too. The jasmine is rather indolic to my nose, which gives it more character. The men’s had a nice violet leaf note but was less interesting to me.

Well, you’ve put this one back on my radar! Thanks for the impression.

Yes I did. Really liked the boldness of it. Another reason why Amouage is my favorite house!
