    Default Decaration....without the cumin note.

Which Declaration flanker has the Declaration DNA without the cumin? I read that there is one that is quite similar to the original, but without the cumin note.

Parfum has the spices dialed up said to be a nicer version.
Currently wearing: Sauvage by Christian Dior

Apart from the aforementioned Declaration flankers mentioned in previous posts, also adding, to certain limited extents (again, as pointed out in several reviews and posts here on BN) Cuir Vetiver by Yves Rocher.

A budget yet not necessarily lower quality, far more good value for money both Declaration but also TDH interpretation, however with no cumin and with far more powdery vetiver and leather, as its name indicates.

You also might want to check out Karl Lagerfeld Bois de Vetiver. You get somewhat of the same vibe from Declaration, but without the cumin note.

Karl Lagerfeld - Bois de Vetiver reminded me a lot of Declaration without that stanky cumin. Its not a strong, wears a lot more airily but is cheap enough to give a punt as it smells decent and is nicely put together.

So, mainly orange? Terre D'Hermes, maybe?

I find Declaration settles down to to this sharp. but fresh orange scent.

    I personally feel it is.

The parfum might be what you are looking for. Try it first though. I like it but it's not really a stronger Declaration without the cumin, you might be disappointed if you were looking for the "ethereality" of the original scent, or a particular combination of notes (the cardammom is more pronounced in the parfum)

You should try the l’eau flanker. It’s the original with more citrus (grapefruit) and without the cumin.

Personally find the original to be just find. The cumin dissipates in 5 mins for me. As mentioned, the cardamom makes the fragrance. Therefore check out Voyage D'Hermes, the original. Cardamom heavy and smells nice, though not as woody.
Is the juice worth the squeeze?

    This is a good suggestion!

Does it have to be a flanker? Agree with the comments that it's worth trying Declaration l'Eau or Declaration Parfum if you want to keep it in the family, but it would be worth smelling Narciso Rodriguez Bleu Noir EDT too - a lot of people find it to be very similar to Declaration.
