Default Mugler Pure Malt..Something seems fishy

    Hello,
I just received my Pure Malt today in the mail. I bought it from Notino. I was a happy camper until i tried to register it and join the Mugler circle. The spot where the code should have been has been covered with a barcode sticker and the circle code itself has been removed with a knife of some sort. Same thing in the bottom of the box, something has been covered with a sticker and something has been cut away?
It just kinda pisses me off even if the stuff is real but, this kind of tampering makes me doubt the whole thing now. And it actually was not that cheap. I have contacted notino but i have not heard from them yet.

What do you guys think is going on?

    Bottom of the package

The batch number in the bottle is 0645166
The box has 0645166 and 17003 under it.

Has anybody seen anything like this before?

This usually happens when the item is a grey market item and is being sold by an unauthorized seller. Do you happen to know if Notino is an authorized seller of Mugler products. My guess is that they aren't.

If they don't answer, complain to the FTC.

It's a grey market bottle. That's why you didn't pay full retail price for it. It's very common for discounted bottles to have their packaging altered, preventing them from being returned to the company or other full-price retailers.
