    Default Bleu de Chanel

    Hi guys

Do you mind appraising if this Bleu de chanel tester is genuine or fake?

It has a date code on the bottle but not on the box as far as i can see.

From your photos, seems to be fine. Nothing jumps out at me. However, not an expert on detecting fakes especially when it's a tester.

Bleu de chanel and any chanel is one of the most heavily faked fragrance out there. Some of them are actually so good it is really hard to tell unless you take it to a boutique or smell it.

Most of these testers sold on the internet are fakes. How is the smell compared with the original in store? How does the magnetic cap feel, it should snap back into place aligning symmetrically? Look under the sprayer to see if it looks cheap.

    It snaps in symetrically.

When you say look under the sprayer, what do you mean? Shall i take off the sprayer?

If upon first smelling it is similar or same, you most likely got authentic. The fakes you can tell right away. Nothing where you have to keep gauging and comparing bc they wont go to those lengths to 'perfect' their scent.

Seeing a Chanel tester makes me want to ask if anyone has info on what the current situation is with Chanel and how they handle moving their old testers? I didn't think they allowed old stock on the grey market like other designers, so I'm thinking examples like this are hard to come by, unless faked.
