Default Name the 3 most beautiful material you know

    I`ll start with:

    Osmanthus absolute
    Exaltolide
    Blue Lotus absolute

    What do you think?

My experience is very limited (I haven't tried any of the ones you listed - and now I want to, lol), but my fav. so far have been:
    Boronia
Patchouli (I know it's basic, but it smells comforting to me).
    and Beeswax Absolute.

    *WAIT*
I just got a new order today.
I like the frangipani absolute, vanilla oleoresin, and gardenia absolute.

Hmm, good question. At the moment, they would be:

    Mimosa olessence (by Robertet)
    Jasmine sambac absolute
    Vetiveryl acetate

I also love exaltolide, it's my favourite musk.

    Ambranum
    Elemodor - isolate
    Labdanum ab - Spain

Blue Lotus. Must be delightful! Nymphaea Caerulea (PA $$$$) ....or Nelumbo Nucifera (much cheaper). Which one do you have? Seems great care must be taken in sourcing the real thing (lots of Etsy concoctions) and it seems that Blue Lily and Blue Lotus are two different things? Can you elaborate on your findings? Thanks!

Various jasmine sambac absolutes and also, surprisingly to me, a wax I received (I suspect it was the absolute-not-extracted type rather than the the type where the absolute has been sucked out already, but I don't actually know.)

As a group, the tinctures given me so generously by a member which included deer tongue leaves and an orris/civet. Absolutely gorgeous.

A tuberose (Organic Tuberose) from Eden Botanicals bought a number of years ago, but sadly the current product while very fine is not the same at all and would not make the list.

    I can't decide,

Tobacco abs. was suprisingly quite good, very sweet and honey like.

Romanolide is quite nice, also musk R1.

Bergamot EO is pretty great, as everyone knows haha

I have the butter CO2 but haven’t tried mixing it with anything yet. Any advice? I have some coconut co2 and aldehyde c18 which I thought it might go nicely with for a creamy coconut, but the butter smells soooo strong! Lol

I have everything but the cocoa, so I’ll give it a try. Thanks for the suggestions.

I second Faceless, use trace amounts. I have diluted Butter CO2 to 1% in ethanol and use like 10 milligram of the dilution in compositions with like 1000 milligram of perfume materials in total.

It would probably be damascenone and nootkatone, with frankincense taking third place.
I would like to smell tabanone, I think I would like it.
