    Default Understanding the ppm ifra limitation

    Hi guys so i have been going through ifras limitations pages. Occasionly the limitation are nit in percentage of the product but in parts per millions (or billions) ppm ppb... is there any article that explains thats? Can someone explain?

    ppm are for food/beverage ...

    To turn ppm into percent, divide by 10,000.

    So for example 1 ppm is 1/10,000th of a percent, or 0.0001%.

    For ppb, divide by yet another 1000.

    So pretty much every product that is described by ppm... i in a way prohibitated?
    I will bring examples for my question later.
    I have been going on each ifra limitation product page... some of them are not as clear as they should be...
