    Hello all,

I’m wearing Oud Ispahan again today. We had a great day in Los Angeles yesterday. Visited the Broad Museum, Grand Central Market, Beverly Hills, Sunset Strip, Hollywood, and the Pantages Theater. It’s fun to mix in with the tourists in our own backyard. I noticed lots of people from the British Isles.

    Have a good day.

    HoP, fantastic moth!!!

No beachy scents in my wardrobe, but I am in sync as close as possible in L’Artisan LEau du Navigateur. Brings to mind travel, beaches and coffee.

Why am I not surprised? You, foxbins, and I have a bit of a fragrance Venn diagram going. A triumvirate of scent siblings, if you will.

I am not synching today. I had my tropical olfactory urges satisfied the last couple of days. I'm wearing Prada Infusion de Vetiver. It cuts the heat and humidity nicely.

Enjoy the mountains, Larimar! Those also cut the heat and humidity nicely.

    That is a beautiful moth!

We're having typical July weather-- warm, humid. I'm revisiting some old favorites. This is the 2nd day in a row that I'm wearing the original YSL In Love Again, by Jean-Claude Ellena.

HoP, thank you for sharing one of nature's wonders -- so incredible looking, particularly fragile, and yet capable of flight.

Public Radio was comparing European vacation days and productivity with ours here in the U.S. Do you Europeans know we have no laws guaranteeing paid vacations here? Do my fellow Americans realize that Europeans get 30 or more paid days each year? Larimar, you live/vacation in an advanced society. BTW, Americans are less productive per hour than Europeans on average.

Couldn't come up with a Caribbean tie-in, and I'm still enamored with my new bottle of Dasein Winter, so that's sotd.

I love how this cap looks like a ceramic tile. How pretty different tile colors and patterns would make a collection from this brand.

What a gorgeous moth! I've only ever seen white, brown or black ones.

    Enjoy your time off, teardrop!

I'm wearing California Reverie. Simple, pretty, and I'd smell very nice on a vacation in the DR.

In Kai oil tonight continuing my quest to become less isolated. I went to our subdivision's Adult Swim and Bingo night at the pool--it was okay and I won once and got a gift card to Chick-fil-A. It wasn't as easy as I thought....people there were drinking, playing three cards, and they called numbers out as fast as they could draw them. One lady brought cheese/cracker/grape appetizers and I found out I cannot eat a cracker and keep up with one BINGO card. Being retired is a learning curve, I guess.
