For some reason, this one is a sleeper. It’s really good and you can get a bottle for around US$60 on eBay.Yet it is far, far better than this price suggests.

I love it in moments. I have a bottle. It's on the periphery of my collection. It has moments when it's not a good fit for me. Too fresh, too challenging. I think I might like it in phases.

Now that you've said something about the price it won't be cheap anymore.

eBay sellers do watch Basenotes and Fragrantica forums you know. Never mention how cheap and underrated a DC'd frag from a known house is, or they'll make sure to fix that problem for you.

It is a great fragrance. And the bottle is beautiful. Chamade Pour Homme reissue was very similar to it.

It is not a sleeper. Has been talked about a lot, especially in vintage forums. AFAIK most of the VFD regulars own this.

One of my faves and I buy it whenever I see it. Just love the stuff. My 21 year old daughter hoisted one of my bottles and it really works on her. I have smelled but never buy the L'Ame d'un Heros version. I just really like the original and--as the OP pointed out--it is still available. For now. I have a crazy early airport start tomorrow but if I remember, this will be my SOTD!

I have that exact presentation. Great deals to be had on it.

I like Coriolan a lot. It's a convincing modern cyphre which doesn't go all in on replicating cyphres of the past. There's a certain sculptural shimmer layered on its historical references, making it an interesting and mysterious wear. Also, it's extremely versatile.

I typed too soon Bavard.
I think you might be right about the 30ml, but I see now that the box is different. Mine (and the standard) box is a cream colour with copper-coloured accents. This box is all copper with the accents in cream. The opposite, I guess, of the normal box.

I had great moments wearing it again today. The base is fine, just not one of the most interesting parts, for my tastes.
