Default Recommendation for someone who LOVES Tuscan Leather

My bottle will inevitably run out (within a year I'm guessing) and I really love this juice! 95% sure I will buy a new bottle, but I will still consider replacing it with something else. What fragrances do you think I would enjoy if I am a huge fan of TL? To me, it smells opulent, luxurious, dark, intoxicating, smoky, and unique. What other fragrances share these characteristics?

NOTE: I am not asking for a clone. Looking for something different. I will likely still purchase TL so no need to recommend La Yuqawam, etc.

Dior Leather Oud would be a good option to try.

If you want to give a classic a try I would suggest giving Moschino Pour Homme or Knize Ten a try.

Bel Ami Vetiver. Even better, first formulation Bel Ami in the shaker bottle.

The obvious one I suppose is Ombre Leather which is not so much a clone but so similarly it would almost be blasphemous not to at least try it if you are such a fan of TL.

Floris Leather Oud (not the Dior) is an underrated fragrance in this arena.

I suspect that recommending you try any of the great leathers in their vintage forms might ruin Tuscan Leather for you. There's really no comparison between the simplistic and linear Tuscan Leather and what you find by trying vintage Bel Ami, Bandit, Knize Ten, Derby, Fahrenheit, etc. Now, some of those will not be to your taste, and sometimes wearing something bold and linear like TL is exactly what you want to wear for a particular occasion, but I'd encourage trying out the classics of the genre too, rather than just the straightforward modern interpretations of leather.
    Most worn:

Black Comme des Garçons, Borneo 1834 Serge Lutens, Patchouli Santa Maria Novella

Have you tried other leathers or is it TL that appeals to you particularly?

I concur with other suggestions. Leather oud for something big and animalic, Knize Ten for a bit of gasoline. If you want a drier and fresher TL, you can try Acqua di Parma Colonia Leather.

    +1 AdP Leather
    Gucci Guilty Absolute perhaps
P.S I get a bad *ss petrol leather from Worth Poir Homme Aftershave spray (old grey stripe box) , plus not much effort to find and reasonably priced.

I have tried a few other leathers. For example Ombre Leather (pleasant), ADP Colonia Leather (did not like), Fahrenheit (need to try again), and Clive Christian C (loved). Most of the suggestions in this thread so far I have not yet experienced. I hope TL is not "ruined" for me, but if I find something that I enjoy more, all the better. Thank you, everyone.

    Shihan

It’s dark, slightly sweet and smoky, with leather and definitely pretty unique!

Some good suggestions already. I'd recommend checkin' out a few from Amouage, namely Interlude, Memoir, JXXV, & Epic. Also maybe Clive Christian C and X. Re: Dior Leather Oud, for sure try it, some folks enjoy it, but I find it to be a hard wear and there's nothing about it that prompts me to recommend it to someone asking for something in the same ballpark as Tuscan Leather.

Mr Prince we share a similar taste in fragrance I think. TL is one of my favorite frags also, for the reasons you mention.

Heres three of my other favorites that have leather/suede in their notes, that you might like. These are all opulent, luxurious, intoxicating, and unique:

Dior Fahrenheit Parfum; absolute masterpiece of luxurious boozy vanilla with beautiful suede and violet.
Tauer Lonestar Memories: smokey, dark, mysterious, spicy, incense-y leather
Dior Homme Parfum: 3 notes. Sandalwood from Sri Lanka. Iris from Tuscany. and "dark and masculine" leather. (has a little bit of oud and cedar in there too) amazing

for the record, I didn't like Leather Oud when I tried it (and I love both notes) Just didnt work for me

You don't get a persistent balmy rose?

I definitely do get rose in there, I'm glad you pointed that note out - the sandalwood, oud, and rose (and some musk?) work beautifully in support of that nuclear, almost electric, iris and smooth leather. But its really difficult for my plebeian nose to identify much more than the two main players because DHP is so well blended... deep, dark, rich, smooth, classy, luxurious.. I run out of superlatives when describing DHP. Its a masterpiece

Not sure if you want another leather? Some fragrances that I think are similarly smooth/plush:

Cuir X by La Perfumerie Moderne
    Cuir Beluga by Guerlain
    Labdanum 18 by Le Labo
    Dior Homme Intense
    Sandalwood by Geo F Trumper
    Galop d’Hermes (marketed to women)
    Iris Celadon by Armani Prive
My only regrets in life are the people I haven't stood up for,
and the perfumes I've thrown away.

Also adding Mystique Homme by Al Haramain, Aramis Havana and Eau des Baux among the affordable,
Jaipur Homme EDP, Songe d'un Bois d'Ete by Guerlain, Feminite du Bois and/or Chergui by Serge Lutens, Furyo by Bogart (actually not expensive when it was first released, pricier by now due to discontinuation), AMen Pure Malt Creation and/or Pure Leather, among the average to more upscale priced ones
