Default Everyday compliment getter for teen?

Just registered to this forum to put this question I am 15 going to 16, and own 2 inexpensive cheap quality fragrances suitable only for summer/spring wear from my experience(Antonio Banderas Cocktail Blue and Mexx for Men Summer Is Now). Yes, pretty lame. Also, i live in Eastern Europe, so in the summer it's hot, and in the winter it's cold.
So, i was gathering money to buy myself some new fragrances for quite some time now. I need something to start with, before going with more specific ones, like for winter/summer or day/night.
Any recomendations for good everyday fragrances that I can wear at school and after classes with my friends, but also head-turning to grab the attention of girls and get some compliments?

My kiddos are your age and they love Polo Red. I'd also recomment One Million, One Million Lucky, Aqua Di Gio Profumo, Yves Saint Laurent L'Homme or LaNuit.

I've come to understand that at this point, it would be best not to go with the original, but the newer Profumo. I have the original, and while good, I did sample Profumo at Macy's and I like it more.

Both are good fragrances. The Profumo, however, is a bit more mature. Can't hurt to try both.

How about Yves Saint Laurent Y (EDP)? I heard it has a new modern DNA. Also, is Dior Sauvage (EDT) still good to wear, knowing that it is so overused at the moment?

YSL Y might be a good one. Id prefer Y over Sauvage. Ultimately, you should go with whatever you like the best, regardless of what other people on here say.

Besides the usual crap (Sauvage, Invictus, Eros, One Million, Eternity, Dylan Blue, etc), you can find stuff that is actually good and doesn't make you smell like a clone of everybody else, and is also suitable for the age bracket you're in.

    Philosykos by Diptyque

Smells like summer in a bottle. You must like fig, however, as that is the star of the show with this one. I don't know if they're legit or not, but bottles of this sell for around $50 on eBay from Eastern Europe.

I've never heard of this one. Is this an interesting fragrance for experienced noses? I'm always on the lookout for smoky incense pepper scents (Avignon, Incense Flash, Blackpepper, etc).

I was going to suggest Y. Or Dior Homme Eau. My sons like those. And Polo Red Intense.
My only regrets in life are the people I haven't stood up for,

Have you considered the original Baldessarini (2002)?

It always strikes me as a great, easy-going smell for a young man.

I think it is, and the ones you've listed I also wear. I bought it on the recommendation of Trauerkraut a couple of years ago, wanting an all-purpose incense fragrance that I could wear pretty much anywhere, work friendly, etc. My expectations weren't that high, and as it wasn't expensive ($60 for a 50ml, I think), just bought it blind. Initially I thought it was good, but in a safe, designer sense, but then I found I just kept wearing it more and more, as it's easy and comfortable in the winter months, or cooler times of the year. I was pleasantly surprised to see Turin give it a ★ review last year, and think it's well deserved.

You're 15 just get an inexpensive bottle of cologne or body wash that smells good to you and , if not already , start paying attention to fine details of grooming , keeping fit, good posture , having a good attitude, and developing proper gentlemanship character. These are what will benefit you the most and scent (along w other minor things ) will be just icing on the cake or bonuses if you keep working on those other main things. Trust me, lot of adults miss out on some or even all of those major things bc they just never learned or cared.

La Nuit de l'Homme as mentioned already, or maybe Nuit d'Issey for something a bit more affordable but also similar.

Thanks for the recommendation. I feel like we have similar tastes, so I'll check it out. Initially, I was skeptical, because I've never heard of the brand. I'll be really impressed if a designer house pulls off an incense + vanilla based scent.

Best compliment getter? Good manners. Works like a charm.

But if you must smell good, I find outstanding value in Bvlgari pour Homme.

Paco Rabonee Invictus Aqua or regular Invictus would be my suggestion. You can find this easily at Macy's or any other department store. It's a very fresh fragrance with sweet and aquatic notes.
