Happy CuddeCat BN Day. Syncing with Doe In the Snow

Looks like London will be experiencing some rain today and a substantial decrease in temperature from the last few days.

Hello everyone and happy CuddleCat Friday!

I'm half-synching with Gabrielle as CuddleCat said Chanel is also an option for her synch

staticx and kewart, you both smell lovely. Herbae's sparkly citrusy top notes smell heavenly to me. I'm not a fan of its soapy heart so I decided not to get this one after all, but sometimes I feel the crave to retry it just because of that absolutely cheerful and happy start.

HouseOfPhlegethon, the colour scheme of your message mesmerizes me.

I focused some attention on 4160 Tuesdays in anticipation of this sync. The name being inspired by 80 years of Tuesdays is cool. The fragrance from this line I remember being touted here more than any other was Doe In The Snow. Expecting someone would wear that (thank you, N.Cal), I can justify my tie-in, which is Dasein Winter. I am the evergreen tree next to that deer standing in the snow.

ExtremeK is right about America having more infrastructure to deal with high temps. Be well, overheated BNers.

My leg is a bit more flexible today, thank you very much. Ryan, are you still doing the stiff-legged amble? Did the doc give you any reassurances about warding off the likelihood glaucoma?

I'm on the desktop this morn, so I'll upload some scenes from this week at Chez Quarry.

ClockworkAlice, congratulations on your new furbaby! I’m of a similar vintage as PerfumedLady and I think Siouxsie is a fantastic name, wherever it fits. And now you have a whole weekend of kitty cuddles!

Quarry, your photos are lovely! I especially love the one of the path surrounded by raspberries. I’m a sucker for pathway photos of any kind — earth, water, or air.

This morning I had the most wonderful surprise. The manufacturer’s travel spray of Daim Blond that I snagged in Chicago is pre-reformulation. It is so gorgeous! I spritzed it on, and it was instantly so much richer and more textured than the current version. And the woods (I think it’s hawthorn, maybe a touch of the old Serge cedar, too) we’re wonderful. It’s still going, 5 hours later. What a pleasure it’s been to wear it this morning!

If any of you knows someone looking to unload a pre-2010 bottle or bell jar of Daim Blond, please let me know. I’ll post my searching for message in the sell/swap forum, too

Almost ready to board my flight home and then, lake, here I come!

Lol!! Laughing at our similar "vintage" ExtremeK! Inching closer to "antique" by the minute (just me, not you). And the thought of giving ClockworkAlice's cat two names for each side of its personality is cracking me up, too! Considering cats and their personalities, it's a wonder they aren't all multiply-named. I think you're on to something there, CA!

Hope you find equal parts fun and peace at the lake, K!

Gorgeous pics, Quarry! I concur on paths and yours is a beauty. Is that stunning blue outside your door a clematis? LOVE that color!

Synced in What I Did on my Holidays this morning and switching now to Paris 1948. Happy CuddleCat Day and Happy Friday!

Good eye, PL. The clematis is called General Sikorsky. The school of landscape design advises locating purples and blues in the foreground lest they get lost in the shadows anywhere else. I just want to provide Mr. Q his favorite color.

    Beautiful landscaping Quarry.

Another purchase post Chicago meetup...I'm synching (EDIT - I synched w/ last week!) with Diptyque Eau de Minthé which has a good amount of patchouli in the dry down. I have a sort of tolerate/hate relationship with patchouli. I really like the way it's woven into this one with the geranium in the dry down phases.

Wonderful photos Q, glad you're feeling a little better!

The temps are much more pleasant here now, & thankfully today wasn't too busy at work.

l've drained my sample of Lace this evening, & topped it up with the very similar Ensoleille Moi.
