I’m blown away by your creativity here.

Mine is from a trip to the Galapagos. The sea lions like people and are very friendly. They will swim with you. This is a photo I shot there.

You're all so artistic, and fashionable, and creative and fierce!

I'm afraid mine is simply a pic I use often for a profile pic.
It's from a group of photos, a positioning study of two of my seats, one of which was going to the leather shop for re-styling.

Now I'm on a mission to find something more 'forum-centric'.

Mine is from a postcard that Baruti did for the release of Chai. I just really enjoyed the image and it was sitting near me when I created my profile so I threw it up. Might be time for a change...

It's a picture of the big solar eclipse that traversed the USA a couple of years ago. The guy watching the eclipse next to me up in Wyoming took the shot.

No particular meaning...I just think it looks cool and like space stuff.

Diamondflame, yours has always been one of my favourites. IMO Gregory Peck was one of the most handsome men that ever lived.

Kotori, l love that style of painting, so yours is also a favourite of mine.

A promotional/still photo from a film adaptation of (likely) Francis Scott Fitzgerald's most famous novel, starring Robert Redford.

Also adding an external link to a blog post explaining the outfits, car etc. used in this film and photo with further details:

Not to mention one of the greatest actors!

Thank you! I do, too. I was thinking of something like Flaming June but it was already in use. When I stumbled on this image of Psyche, I was dazzled not only because I’m a bit obsessed with mythology, but because I’ve always self-identified with the arrogant girl who infuriated Aphrodite and had to do labors because of it. Plus, she looks a bit like me. Similar coloring.
My only regrets in life are the people I haven't stood up for,
and the perfumes I've thrown away.

mine is Harrison Ford from Empire when he takes particular exception to being called scruffy looking. I'm a lavish star wars fan, or at least used to be before Kathleen Kennedy got her mitts on creative control, and Disney bannished the lore to Legends.

The thought processes behind all the avatars provide a fascinating read!

It’s hard to see in the small avatar photo but the writing on the top of the atomizer button says “RESET.” I drew that picture for this forum to indicate what applying perfume signifies to me.

Odd--I've always pictured you as him.

I didn't know that was Gregory Peck and for some reason I thought that that was you, but I also kind of knew it wasn't you, but still pictured that guy every time I saw your name or read one of your posts. Haha.

My avatar is from a photo I took of my guitar. I used Photoshop to play around with the image, and ended up with something really cool (IMO). Then I couldn't remember the "recipe", and was unable to recreate the same look with other photos.

Man, I've just been all kinds of wrong about peoples' avatars. I thought yours was a bad, blurry photo of a maneki neko, like your profile pic.
