I have recently switched to a new label printing company and they are not very fast. I am still waiting for the labels to get delivered, and that's why I can't make an announcement of the launch date of Bee. I am thinking November 22nd. Fingers crossed.

Bee was supposed to launch in early 2020, but in order to enter it to this year's Art and Olfaction Awards competition, it must be launched in 2019. So I am going to do a limited quantity launch. As you know, I am still doing everything myself; so just to be sure it is launched in 2019, I am going to manufacture about 100 bottles. I have promised Luckyscent 50 bottles, and I will sell the rest on my webshop. I will then focus on stockpiling for the rest of the retailers in December, and hopefully Bee will launch "officially" in January 2020.

Like Squid, Bee will have a special edition packaging (500 boxes).

Thanks so much for giving us all the scoop Victor. I've yet to skip a release from Zoologist and Bee will be no different. Cheers and much continued growth and success- so far you've done an amazing job with as LiveJazz said, "retaining their Zoologist-ness, but perhaps broadening the appeal".

Victor is lovely to deal with. Had a great interaction with him today and really am glad that Zoologist is one of my most collected houses(I think I have 12 bottles of their scents and I still get surprised when I wear them! Can’t wait to smell Bee. Just missed the little sample at tigerlily, as everyone else had already asked to smell it!

I’m not a big fan of honey notes but based on ClaireV’s account Bee sounds really good. The artwork is as spectacular as usual. I think Zoologist has to be one of the most collectible houses around.

Victor indicated 500 special edition boxes above, like with Squid. Have not spotted the artwork yet. He will probably leak it out just before the release as he did with Squid. Teasers. I am assuming he will use a sleeve again as that was very successful.

Please say more! Strange inky top layer which lingers throughout at some level, I agree, but then it's tamed by an easily appealing foundation IMO. Are you enjoying it?

I love the solar/salty notes. I have a soft spot for those, when they're well done, not too synthetic and not too sweet. In my mind, it makes me think about Soleil Blanc by Tom Ford.

The 'ink' is easy to love. Not headache inducing (like 2 by CdG).

The 'oceanic' elements of this are not offensive.

It is strange! And wonderful, imo. I love the incense- throws the entire thing into uncharted waters (pun intended). For me it's a safe and pleasant fragrance that keeps my attention for hours- a rare and welcome occurrence.

First impression... Claire nailed it in her review. Much easier to wear than most from the Zoologist line. A nice alternate to Slowdive and for honey fans in general. Presentation is typical Zoologist, just shy of the amazing Squid where they did their best. A premium price, like T Rex, and oh so good, so far...

Edit - Six hours in and a fresh nose enters the room. The fresh nose reports the scent projects to a room filling level. Honey, sweet, but not too sweet. Projection typical of the house. Going to have to dial back from three sprays.

New bottles as well that adhere to the original design but with a concave surface on the bottom to accommodate the manufactures data label and an inset area on the front which accommodates and frames the main label. The bottles are free of mold lines and are basically flawless. The labels are centred and straight. There is a level of attention to detail for the juice and the packaging that exceeds most at the price point. Zoologist continues to raise their bar.

I’d buy a full bottle if it wasn’t so expensive

Wow. Lots of love showing up for Bee. Guess I’ve gotta sample this. Can’t imagine having a reason to own a full bottle but I’m open to persuasion.

I've been wearing Bee for several days now. My only disagreement is I don't it to be very sweet, more like barely sweet for me, meaning just right.
Gets my vote for most wearable and versatile Zoologist. Zero challenges.

It’s barely noticeable in comparison
It’s more like Gold Knight in that specific regard
I’m a huge BK fan I realize others might not know that house but for those that do hope this helps ��*♂️
