Have I told you about the scent of jasmine? Have I spoken about the smell of the sea? The earth is scented. And I perfume myself to enhance what I am. That's why I can not wear a perfume that bothers me. Perfuming is an instinctive wisdom. And like all art, it requires some knowledge of yourself..."

Good morning all! So steamy here! 87% humidity. Stepped out the back door, immediately started dripping, came back in and got some EA Green Tea from the refrigerator. It felt heavenly. Love fridge perfumes!

    Have a good day!

Good morning everyone Today I'm in a sample of Morrocan leather. I almost ended up buying this in Oslo, but at the time the bf chose Santal Carmin from the 3 i enjoyed the most. Now the bf and I are on our way to a modern art museum outside Copenhagen. It's called Louisiana. Looking forward to that Hope you all have a nice day

Barbara Bui EDT for today, layered over the Nuxe dry oil. More powdery than usual I guess but these go together and the softness is pleasing to me, this is the third day I woke up with a migraine, not a crazy bad one at all - relatively low intensity but definitely unmistakable in its character. Yuck.

Ohgodmetoo. After a scentless week, I couldn't go another day without perfume, so last night I put a bottle of vintage 1980s No. 19 in the fridge, and this morning it was like spraying myself with snowflakes.

Yes, that is weird of you, and further proof that cat lovers are just as weird as their cats.

After I posted that story, I remembered that it wasn't actually 4 times he peed in my purse -- one of the times, he peed in my shoes. And not just my everday sneakers -- oh no, he had to go all the way to the closet to seek out a good pair of snakeskin leather dress shoes, and peed in both of them. Man, that cat was lucky I loved him so much.

Speaking of cats, I think it's time for a photo update on Shycat's kittens. Group shot please!

Ooo, refrigerated 19 does sound extra icy! Going to have to try that.

That's what I thought, weird. Oh well, I'm in excellent company. I think it's the fact that he did it each and every time that gets me going the worst. "How many times do I have to tell you, lady?" I suppose you had it coming when your nice shoes got peed. Should have listened the first time! Yes, it was most definitely a statement! One of these days I'm going to bring home someone (or three) new to ruin some more stuff around here.

Going with No.5 Eau Premiere to hang out with my niece & nephew, two of my favorite people. Take good care, Robin! Be gone, migraine!

Nice to see Mike and Kiliwia again

Wore New Haarlem to Menards for last fetch of boardwalk timbers. Served zucchini (pizza boats), basil (pesto cream cheese), and green beans from the garden for lunch. Yum. Showered and applied Lucy B's Pink Frangipani. Although the notes tell two different stories, I find PF similar to Le Labo Lys 41. But consider the price: PF is $48 for 2 oz. and Lys is $189 for 1.7 oz.

Lucy B Pink Frangipani: Pink grapefruit, Pineapple; Red suva frangipani; Heliotrope, Coconut milk

Le Labo Lys 41: Lily, Jasmine, Tuberose, Woods, Madagascan vanilla, Tiare, Solar accord, Musk
