    Thank you.
I think they had those for a long time. For that one, I'm guessing late 80s / early 90s. It looks like a good bottle.

Though not an expert, seconding the opinion that it looks legit.

Congratulations and enjoy- this memorable vintage find is truly a valuable addition to your and to any fragrance lineup.

Sous Le Vent and Diorella are quite to similar, both green and aromatic I prefer the former.

Chypre Coty is wonderful if you like oak moss.
I've always wondered about Sous Le Vent, but it's so absurdly rare (even on Ebay) that I've never tried it. I love Diorella, although the pure parfum is also getting pretty difficult to source. :-(

Still waiting for No. 19 and still VERY excited!
Can any of y'all shed some light on Chypre Coty? As to which versions I should scout for and which to stay away from? A detectable oakmoss is a must.
Same goes for Mitsouko, really, but me pockets ain't super deep, though bwaaaah..

Coty Chypre was a straight up mossy scent. A dab of citrus in the opening with some florals in the mid with a strong dose of oakmoss at the base. Rogue Chypre-Siam would be a good alternative to Coty Chypre. Both have incredible dry downs.

Chypre-Siam is actually on "pinch-list" for next month along with No.5 & Mitsy. New batches are reported being darker juice and even mossier....I'll take that anyday, yessir.
Saw the prices on the Coty yesterday, which then made me run like hell away from it haha. Thanks, N.Cal!

    Bump

Okay, so I just got these two nuggets today - Guerlain Mitsouko & Chanel No. 5 EdC, both boxed as you can see.
I deliberately went for the EdC concentration of No. 5 because, according to my research, it should be the more "masculine"-leaning of them all, more musky and animalic and such?
I don't know the eras of either No. 5 and Mitsy, btw.
So if any of y'all have any comments or additional info, I'd love for you to jump right in!
    Thanks a helluva lot

It is correct that No. 5 edc is the most masculine version of No. 5. It's a big favorite, but I like the vintage edt just as much.

I'm really looking forward to sniffing it. Can't remember at all what it smells like. There was another No. 5 EdC listing from same seller. It was 2oz/60ml, but the one I chose is 2oz/59ml so I automatically assumed that my bottle is the older of the two (because of the odd number). Is that correct? It also has a 3-character batch# on the bottom stamped in black ink.
