    Default Aventus vs Aventus Cologne

This has probably come up before. However, I received a free sample of cologne a month ago or so, and I just received my sample set from Creed and I had included Aventus in it, naturally. They honestly smell almost exactly the same to me, the the point I would think they were the same. Is that supposed to be the case?

The regular Aventus smells darker and woodier. The cologne smells more fresh and citrussy. You need to spray them on your skin to really notice the difference.

They smell quite different, although Cologne has the same vibe as Aventus.
