Default Fragrances for a hoodie and jeans type of guy

    Hi !
What ( type of ) fragrances would you suggest for a 23 years old guy that likes to wear hoodie , jeans and sneakers on evenings/nights ? ( not that skater guy type though ) .
I might have been too precise but I hope you understand what I mean .

What are your favourite sort of scents?

In my opinion, anything goes. I don't tend to associate fragrance with a certain style of dress.

All very nice choices for a beginner

Some of the scents that are relatively casual you may want to try are:

    - D&G Light Blue
    - Armani Acqua di Gio
    - Davidoff Cool Water
    - Hermes Terre de Hermes
    - Lalique Encre Noir
    - Paco Rabbane One Million

The first three are all classics that are very fresh. Terre de Hermes and Encre Noir are smoky and woody, and the Paco Rabbane is on the sweeter side.

You can get them relatively cheap from legitimate websites (Notino is a very good one, I'm sure they ship to Romania), but beware as they are rather widely faked, so I wouldn't buy them from eBay or similar auction sites.

Versace is a nice line. It sounds like what you want:

    Eros
    Pour Homme
    Dylan Blue

They release things that are in the style of the moment, and sometimes, arguably, make them even nicer than popular fragrances of the style. I might like Versace Pour Homme, for example, more than Chanel Allure Homme Sport.

Boss Bottled would be good (it's also known as Boss No. 6, I think).

Actually, 23 year old hoodie and jeans? You may just want to opt for something from Abercrombie, Hollister, maybe even Express.

May be a little too old for the Abercrombie and Hollister selections though. But I wore Fierce up to my mid 20's and Hollister SoCal up till my late 20's.
Would NEVER wear it now but loved it back, way back when.

Anything. I would wear anything in my wardrobe with a hoodie. That is not much to go on. If forced to answer id say hoodie style is casual, comfortable, not challenging, and not usually in extremely hot weather. Dylan blue is good. Sauvage, armani profumos. We are really at this point just picking masculine scents. Find one you think smells good. The best sellers are best sellers for a reason.
It’s tragic to think that heroic man’s great destiny is to become economic man, that men will be reduced to craven creatures who crawl across the globe competing for money, who spend their nights dreaming up new ways to swindle each other.

Yep! The mainstream stuff is all pretty versatile. Could work with a hoodie or also a dress shirt and tie.

Something smoky-leathery but also fun, not too serious and has at least a little bit of mass appeal. ;-)

Montblanc Explorer might be the move. Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme is an easy wear and so is Bleu de Chanel in any formulation. Sauvage Parfum is coming out soon, could be worth a look.

D&G The One always goes down well as an evening/night scent.

Dior Fahrenheit if you’re feeling adventurous.

This sounds like a Montblanc Explorer or Prada Luna Rossa kind of guy. Both are mass appeal and understated. If you want something a bit more "out there" for him but within the designer realm, I'd also suggest Versace Pour Homme Dylan Blue, or Eternity for Men Intense by Calvin Klein.

I'd avoid the usual Bvlgari, Nautica, and Armani aquatics (too generic/sporty)
Also, I'd avoid the Dior Sauvage and Bleu de Chanel type scents because they're more of the office/dress casual vibe and get worn a lot in downtown corridors and malls.
oh look, I have a signature
