Personally, I have used Benzyl Acetate as a top, to middle note sweetener and diffusion element.
The obvious use for benzyl acetate is in Jasmine and white floral accords.
But *I have found other uses for Benzyl Acetate.

For example, in woody, amber, incense and leather accords.
Benzyl Acetate really help heavier materials like woods and balsams jump off the skin.
It also delivers a sweet (near to, definitely not exactly like vanillin) fruity like presence.

Next time you reach for Vanillin....
Try cutting the vanillin down a little, and try adding a small touch of Benzly Acetate.

Just a suggestion.
It might help out, it may not.

Happy Experimentations!
