I just saw an ad for a plastic surgery clinic in my area featuring a topless woman in this thread. That's not something I had searched for. Are ads becoming specific to threads now??

They are altering how their eye lids are folding to get bigger eyes when they are opened.
Google it if you are interested in anatomy of Korean eyes

I did and it looks.....very unnatural, to put it nicely. Looks like a cartoon.

Not sure why that would be desirable.

The most beautiful eyes I've seen in my life were the dark eyes of Korean girl looking at me...

To each their own. Hey, if there are no health risks, I guess go right ahead, lol
I've never noticed this before, but it makes them look like anime characters. Exaggerated eyes and whatnot.

Might be worth reading this as a primer and other articles surrounding the topic:

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cuteness

In short: people find tall foreheads, big eyes, and a smaller mouth / jaw attractive due to how it resembles the facial features of an infant. Incidentally, double eyelid surgery and jaw bone shaving are amongst the more popular procedures in South Korea. Go figure.

I seem to have the opposite of Lorenz's Kindchenschema. I'm attracted to large noses, prominent jawlines, and hooded eyes.

Wow, I didn't ever think this went so deep and intense. This is nuts.
And yeah, I think or thought most cultures would be more drawn to a larger physique and jawline.
That infant stuff creeps me out, haha

If someone wants to have botox and fillers that is their decision but the truth is no they do not look younger they just look like they have botox and fillers. Same with facelift no you do not look younger if a totally brilliant surgeon who is very good you look perhaps fresher.

Up to each individual whether they get work done but let us not forget it does not last forever and you have to get it all redone every 10-15 years.
This. I have inherited undereye fat and am planning on getting blepharoplasty as the bags have worsened with age and I fear what they'll look like in another decade, but then again, I told my husband at the very beginning that he was marrying an eventual boob job and I decided I didn't need that, so who knows. There's something to be said, I think, for just letting nature take its course. It's a hard thing to do, sometimes.
