    Default Which one for fall/winter? 21 y.o.

    Hi,

I'm just new to fragrances and I would like to have something more of a compliment getter. Last time I bough small sample of Knize 10 and well, let's say I want to stick to something women friendly with great projection and performance ideally around 60 USD for 100 ml, tester could be too. For now I have just rest of Versace Eros and Hugo Boss bottled and I'm already tired of that.

    I was considering:

La Nuit De L'homme (Heard that new reformulation is weak)

Perry Ellis Black could add Salvatore Ferragamo F black

Armaf club de nuit intense ( not sure about season though and last reformulations too)

    Dior Homme intense

    Carolina Herrera CH men

Looking for best compliment getter could be completely different brand. Thanks for suggestions

The only ones I am familiar with are DIOR Homme Intense and La Nuit. Both are very good, IMO, but would favor more toward DIOR.

Dior Homme Intense is much better than the others mentioned, which I find to be either sweet, safe, or dull.

Dior's Fahrenheit might also be worth considering, if you like leather fragrances and the violet note.

I'm not sure about current formulations, but any time I wear Armaf CDNI I get compliments. Almost without fail. I rarely get any commentary on other frags.

Trick question, both DHI and La Nuit are the best, but both have been reformulated hard.

From this list, voted for La Nuit de l'Homme by YSL and for DHI-also recommending either, or, if possible, both of these two as autumn/winter scents for both your and almost any male age group

I'm not a big fan of any of these, but the Dior is head-and-shoulders above the rest of 'em.

La nuit smells the best out of those to me, but performs real shoddy. Dior Home is probably the one to try. Dont buy a bottle just sample. Club de Nuit I remember how it smells but if its weak dont get it. I have Alharramain LAdventure and it smells incredible but last around 4 to 5 hours of good performance before falling flat.

If you like the La Nuit, you could try it's L'Intense version. If I remember correctly it does last longer, but the scent is different and much sweeter.

Of that list, given the criteria you listed, Club de Nuit due to it's extreme performance, cheap price, and compliment factor. I recently ordered Dior Homme Intense, but wouldn't recommend it to you given what you want in a fragrance. Valentino Uomo Intense smells pretty similar, but will give you better performance at a better price, and with more mass-appeal.

Additionally, I'd recommend the lemon-ginger bomb that is Azzaro Wanted. Good luck!

    DHI hands down.

I thought that Club de nuit is summer fragrance, isn't it? Good point with Azzaro wanted by night but I'm not sure if it's better for the same price as YSL. I know a guy who rocks Dior, not sure if it's for me.

Dior Homme Intense - no question a fine fragrance to start with performance and smell will be untouched by other fragrances.

    Carolina Herrera CH Men Prive
    Giorgio Armani Stronger With You
    Giorgio Armani Armani Code Absolu
    Mancera Aoud Vanille

Dior Homme Intense, my preference is for the original silver collar formulation from back in 2007-10.

DHI is the best fragrance you listed, but I don't really think that is what you are asking. The performance of CDNM is far above the others I have tried. I have a 2019 DHI, it is not weak. At this point Id say it has good performance, but not monsterish. Azzaro Wanted is a good suggestion by alonewithcologne. It has a more youthful playful vibe, ala eros, and performs well.
