I would consider Gold Man as underrated scent.

Good thread will have to sample some of the Opus fragrances suggested.

Surprised Interlude did not appear in many responses, was it because of dislike or not considered a sleeper ?

I currently own Interlude and Beach Hut man, enjoy them both, was drawn to Interlude because of the reviews and comments in the forum regarding projection and longevity, both powerful........ the scent itself is good but not great IMO. If scent, projection and longevity are the measures which other fragrances from this house should I sample?

Not considered a sleeper. Interlude has cult status (at least) or can be considered iconic (at most).

Default Amouage: what do you think is the sleeper or under-rated of the line?

I think I am an expert on Amouage since I have or had all of the amouages except for myths (which Is on the way). In my current collection I have 18.

Best one is Dia by mile
Opus XI, Memoir and Epic are next in line
And then Journey, Opus VI and Bracken
    Imitation deserves special mention

But Dia is masterpiece that can not be repeated

do you have the magnetic cap version of dia? have you tried non-magnetic cap version? non-magnetic cap version is seriously 10 times better.

Looks like all of his are magnetic caps. I agree. I seek out non tester friction caps mostly. Unless it’s a new Amouage fragrance of course.

They are all magnetic. Most of them (except newer ones ) are from 2012-2014 when I bought most of my Amouage (except for later editions).

Perfectly happy with my Dia I donít have any wish to try another one since I donít find anything that could be improved

I am not a fan of this house. Way too oriental and in your face for my taste. It is a definite pass for me.

Sunshine Man is really polarizing. I think vastly underrated.
FYI: I spray all fragrances on clothing, never on skin.

Just got Fate and I'm looking forward to wearing it. It doesn't smell polarizing at all from just an arm test.

I could not make peace with Sunshine Man. Nope.

I like it but I need 4-5 wearings before I form my opinion of scent

You would LOVE the way it dries down, a totally soft, cushiony barbershop powder, but nice and rich, almost like the base of Invasion Barbare or Prada L’Homme...in that ballpark. The opening, I’m not so sure about—it’s almost pure cloves. The middle stage is an interesting warm, earthy green scent. I like it. The thing is, I’m normally not a huge fan of cloves, but knowing how this scent evolves and where it goes I kind of like them in Bracken. Knowing they’ll only be there for an hour or two allows me to appreciate them, whereas if they persisted for 8 hours in a linear way I’d get annoyed by them in the first 15 minutes. It’s hard to explain. The only example I can use to illustrate my point is the crazy lavender opening of Caron PUH. The opening is kind of harsh and weird in a very herbal way, but knowing it dries down into a soft lavender/vanilla combination after 15 minutes I can enjoy it. But if it lasted for hours I would hate it.

I'm wearing Fate Man today and I really like it. I'm getting no body odor types of scent from this, just a spicy freshness. So far, so good! Just two sprays for work.

It's a great work scent. I've had compliments on it. Two sprays is perfect.

Save some dosh and try Houbigantís Fougere Royale. Much smoother patchouli in it and it lasts just as long.

Agree with the others on Fate Man. Very elegant spicy-fresh immortelle note. Itís really quite unique.

Journey and Gold as well as the whole Library collection.
I would say Figment, but it is very exotic, so I understand the lack of popularity.
